Apple Pay and PayPal
Apple Pay always return with ordering error. Bank always declines payment. So I used PayPal. Recently the PayPal option was gone. What happened?
App won’t work
The app never works , tried multiple times , it’s upto date , but still doesn’t work. After i select pub and table number I get a message saying no menu items , check internet. Never works , tried in multiple pubs
Anomoly
Used the app in a pub in Sheerness but forgot to order something so wanted to change a drink order before ordering but what I didn’t realise it changed my pub to one across the river which I didn’t realise until my order didn’t turn up. Think it may be wise for app to show what pub the order is going to before you get to the pay screen and not allow it to change your location

Spaghetti noodle ramen
Felt inspired by all of the other reviews so thought I’d leave my own. Fish and chips was absolutely bangin’. Very crispy and succulent but only the small size available. Such a shame as I needed MORE. But the ramen was abysmal. I believe it is not noodles at all but spaghetti. C’mon now, its not hard to make that change. Don’t serve anymore starchy soup. Payment fail in app
Since Weatherspoon’s have dropped PayPal the Wetherspoon’s app will not complete an order, Apple Pay and debit card not working either, I’ll be dammed if I’m going to manually input my card details every time I make a purchase, nor wait in a queue at the bar to place a food order, Wetherspoon’s need to get their act together or they’ll be loosing a lot of customers

Never works
The app was great , but now it never seems to work. Maybe it’s just the Birmingham airport location, but it can never find the pubs despite clearly showing my location on the little map.

Ordered 2 meals with drinks at the twelve tellers Preston food was over 20 mins and cold and drinks had still not arrived when we had finished our food !

Easy to use
I have used this app many many times but it’s lacking one thing, a comment section because i like certain things cooked differently. That means i have to queue at bar.
Not working
Hey sorry team, this app currently won’t open on IOS15, installs just fine but crashes each time I try to open it. Would love to have it working again :)
App needs updating
The app needs updating to include an option for how customers would like their eggs cooked with breakfast, for example: runny, medium, or well done. Currently, the standard seems to be runny eggs, which some customers may consider undercooked and unsuitable due to medical, dietary, or personal preferences.
While some people enjoy runny eggs, this does not suit everyone. Adding a simple cooking preference option would improve customer satisfaction, food safety, and accessibility for those with specific dietary needs.
There also appears to be an issue with staff not always listening carefully to customer requests, with some seeming more focused on talking to colleagues than providing attentive service. This could potentially lead to lost sales and repeat customers choosing to go elsewhere.
I’m surprised this feature hasn’t already been added, as it seems like a basic but important improvement for customer experience.

Saved my marriage
My husband used to be completely incompetent and I was on the verge of divorce but after downloading the Wetherspoons app, he leaves the house so much more often and I don’t need to deal with him anymore. Marriage is finally going smoothly.
Ale Choices Gone Insane
This has happened for two days now. Checked a pub’s ales in the morning. Got to the pub. Checked before I went in. Completely different ales. Try again later. Different ales again. And this is in the morning! This has happened with every pub in Liverpool.

The ever hart chadwell heath no parking for the disabled there parking for the staff only who can walk but not for parking for the handicapped I feel that is wrong and some thing should be done about this I am 84 grs age and registered disability.it is marked for disabled but told not allowed & move my car they could see I was using 2 walking sticks & could hardly walk.same thing should be done.

Pizza not up to usual standard
Wetherspoons pizza are usually delicious & very good value for money. (Having said that, not every location has a pizza oven). But our local- Woodrow Wilson,Carlisle today the bases were not cooked through, and we’re not eaten. It was very busy, with only one member of seen doing all the food - so we didn’t queue up to complain.

Terrible search for pubs
Birmingham only has three, apparently.
Terribly unreliable
Totally unreliable. Then you go to the bar and the staff are busy chatting. Had exactly the same issue in the Lake District as in Sittingbourne Kent. Works first time round, then every time subsequently the app doesn’t load after the products are confirmed.
Doesn’t work
App doesn’t work in the Dog Beck, Penrith. Tried multiple times, on multiple devices, over multiple weeks.
Love the Convenience (When it Works)…
Like I said, the convenience is great, but it’s sooo flaky: it hardly ever identifies the pub I’m in, so I have to search for it, it inevitably hangs before taking payment, forcing a restart (at least my items stay in my basket) and — most egregious of all — the constant “We noticed that you may have moved to a different pub” alerts while you’re in the middle of ordering and haven’t moved a centimetre..!!!
