And lpp is horrible I got banned for no reasons and they didn’t even give me a warning or suspension I just got straight perma banned right before I started selling and now I’m finding a different app and you should too

Whatnot is very much more grounded in buyers and sellers helping each other learn the live selling process and in turn building loyalty to the ones who build a relationship with their buyers rather than just grabbing all the sales they can for a day or two, I really have developed great friendships with Sellers and my buyers alike. Everyone who buys on the app must understand that it’s very easy to overspend on the app because it feels good to win an item you want and it’s different than just looking at an item in a store on the shelf and saying to yourself, this item is $4.99 do I really need it. Yes it’s a good deal but I really don’t need it today maybe on pay day. When it’s a live action auction the timer is ticking and you don’t don’t always think it through the “ I gotta win this and before someone else does and before you know it you have spent more than you intended to. Whatnot has recently put stop gaps in place where you can set time on the app and budgets on how much you spend before you are warned that your over the preset limits you set for yourself.

Predatory shipping
Beware! I’ve shopped a lot with whatnot but with the new shipping changes they are being absolutely predatory on the shipping charges to make extra money saying every single items weighs 1lb even if they are tiny or very light. Not worth the insane shipping charges

I freaking love whatnot! I have yet to start selling, but they have a beautiful community of people and a hell of a variety! Just check it out, I bet you’ll find your people and some great goodies! This app genuinely is so fun, I love chatting with people about hobbies, bidding, exploring new things, and much more. I might seem almost to excited about the app, but I swear it can bring some joy to your day.
