Could we make Wrike even more difficult?

Using Wrike for our purposes is like having to build a car from scratch to get to the store. Maybe car-building-like functionality is helpful for some, but it takes more time to make the thing work than the time and effort Wrike is supposed to save using it.

Love WRIKE except for having to click on each item in inbox to see if it’s completed or approved/in progress.
It takes up time to find the item I’m looking for. Would be perfect if status showed on thumbnail

Satisfied Customer

My team has been using Wrike for over a year now and we thoroughly enjoy its versatility and ease of use. The spaces feature has allowed us to separate our traditional projects and managed services offerings while seamlessly tracking team member contributions and planning tasks.

The ability to have unlimited viewers allows us to keep clients engaged without disrupting our workflows or the need to spend excessive time on administrative tasks. Notes and attachments are available for review and approval with minimal effort.

On occasion I have experienced my Personal space duplicate itself, which appears to be a glitch. Customer service has been highly engaged and responsive when these and other issues arose in the past. While some of the mobile app features are not as seamless as the desktop client, it still provides a quality user experience.

I keenly recommend Wrike as a PM solution for your growing organization or agency.

Response from developer

Thank you for the positive feedback! We're working hard on improving the application with each release. Stay tuned for future updates!

Too complicated

Not intuitive and too complicated.

Bloated, buggy, and unintuitive

Would love a more functional version of this app. Generally unpleasant to use. Simple functionality like accessing links, viewing media, and marking tasks are so clunky that I prefer to just wait until I’m able to access the desktop version.

So confusing

No idea how to find anything. What a maze of approvals and subitems.

The phone app is horrible

It is so difficult to size your window to type a message it is ridiculous.
It keeps collapsing to a way you can see only one line.

Also adding image a message never works it send as a separate message or not at all.

It is difficult to navigate between sub task.

If you need to do more than reading your new message and answer by a short okay you better get to your laptop or computer to use Wrike or you will waste time navigating this clunky app.

App is hard to use compared with the website

App is hard to use compared with the website

Difficult to find info

Projects with multiple levels of subtasks are poorly presented and difficult to navigate. It’s faster to pull out my laptop and get the info I need

Hard to find stuff

Why do I have to tap ‘show sub items’ to get to my “stuff” — I wish the app worked more like the desktop version

Unusable

I am a manager at my company and use Wrike for work and I had to force 20ish people to use it as well but the apple app is unusable to an almost criminal extent. If that is not bad enough it won’t let me use it through a browser on my IPAD and forces me to use the app. I will be pushing my company to utilize something else.

bug/glitch of phone to laptop wrike sync

glitch/bug happens a lot of times when sending comment on phone app that wont be show on ur laptop wrike, fail to sync and wont let you know, you have to find out yourself, and disrupture the company operation

why have an app?

i'm looking for a calendar based app that will help me track my art project process and help me better plan and schedule my process and commissions. Maybe this app is that, but "to see the calendar get on desktop".... If i wanted to work off my laptop I WOULDN'T HAVE DOWNLOADED AN APP ON MY PHONE.
instant delete account and uninstall, waste of time.

Overcomplicated and Counterintuitive

This app acts like a CRM but makes every task more difficult and unnecessary complicated than it should be. Does not save the view preferences and the suggestions for autofill are way far than what it should be.

Changing dates is impossible in the app. Eliminate the stupid slider

Can’t change dates with slider. You click on the end date to move it, and the project changes to one day duration…. USE TEXT FIELDS OR CALENDAR SELECTS FOR EACH DATE. sheesh do your developers actually use this app???

Wrike on handicap

Wrike website forces you to use the app but the app lacks basic functionality like creating a row or column in a table.

To sophisticated

Need less work flow

Somehow it gets worse and worse

This app gets worse and worse with every update. There’s so many bugs it’s wild.

Fantastic

I use this nearly every work day collaborating with my team in real time. I’m often on the go, so the mobile app ensures things keep moving forward, even while I’m not at my desk.

App doubles comments, no scrum boards

Recently the app keeps showing my comment reply back to someone in a thread twice, like I hit submit twice on a comment but I didn’t.

There’s also zero support for Scrum framework. No sprint planning board or review/retrospective section or easy burn down and capacity planning. Use Jira or DevOps if you need scrum framework in your Agile business.

Finally. And this really bugs me, I cannot go up a level. When I’m at a task level I cannot go up a parent level in the app. Really basic flow functionality missing.

Hi there! We are sad to hear you had concerns with the application. For the issue with comment duplication, we recommend to create a ticket here: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and we will do our best to troubleshoot your issue! We have also recently released Board view in mobile. So if you have set a board view on your desktop for a particular project or folder, then you can switch to the board view on mobile as well. As for the navigation concerns we will take your feedback to the concerned team.
