Xero log in
Disgusting account system. Need to send and invoice urgently, and xero does the let me log in. Contact Support, and the don’t respond. Is a joke

“Trust this device” button doesn’t work
When signing in on my MacBook computer, I tick the box “trust this device” yet it doesn’t actually work.
Every time you have to do the 2FA again and it hasn’t trusted your device like it should.

Very useful and simple
I previously did all of my Xero tasks via the desktop website. I decided to give the app a go to see if it was any good. I’m pleased to say that it is. It may not have all of the features of the desktop site but for what I need it’s great. My main focus tends to be bank reconciliations and this app really helps me to get this done with a minimum of fuss. Recommended.

Poor experience/don’t recommend
I have found navigating your app confusing. I signed up for a free trial and tried to cancel when I realised I couldn’t use it. I couldn’t find a way to cancel and it slipped my mind (I have disabilities too and I’m doing the best I can with poor executive functioning). When I got charged at the end of the free trial I again couldn’t find a way to cancel. When I typed in my issue. No response matched mine. I was frustrated and upset not knowing how to cancel. Somehow I found some way to email… I explained my issue and I was told in black and white terms the rule your end ie no refund, 30 days cancellation notice required, etc, and no openness to my situation. I’m on a pension and make pocket money on Etsy. $70+ is a lot of money for me to loose on nothing. I emailed back and no response. Very poor customer service and money grabbing company. This situation arose because it was not transparent how to find a way to cancel when I realised this app was no working for me.

I use it remotely for quoting, invoicing and purchasing and I find it very very easy to use! Highly recommend above the other apps for accounting

Far too expensive
Slow at creating invoices and adding payments, Not worth the money and the annual increase in pricing is a kick in the guts. Never again!
Waste of 30 minutes
I have Xero on my desk top but putting it on the iPhone is a complete waste of time. I logged in it said my bank accounts were overdrawn they are not it said I have not sent any invoices I have. I tried to link bank accounts and it just went round in circles log on to bank ok log into Xero enter set up key what set up key

Not impressed
Been using Xero for a few years now has been good but recently opted to use the card payment service (Stripe) which I feel I have been scammed, as a small business I require prompt payment but this service has strung payments out for a week plus and charge a fee 🤬 not happy at all will be looking to change to a different accounting app as a result

Useless App
Can we please have it work with full functionality so that we can use our ipads or mobile phones and check chart of accounts and reports. Its useless app.
Missing basic functionality
Astounding that in 2024 Xero still insist that if you’re travelling you must take your laptop and not your iPad, or use the cumbersome browser (if that’s even possible). How is such a basic function as running payroll not possible within the app?
Edit: Still not possible two years later. I’ve now moved elsewhere as I really need this most basic of functions.

I wish it would scan receipts and auto crop the images when taking photos of a bill.
