Yelp sucks!
Not a fan of Yelp and how they run their business. We paid them for ads. When we get organic reviews they hide them. When we ask for reviews they hide them. Some days reviews show up and other days they go back to the “hidden” section of Yelp.

They should be more fair about the reviews, they just post the bad ones

Since I signed up my business with yelp, it has been nothing but nightmare. Very difficult to reach somebody to resolve issues. Every time we receive five star review from a customer yelp, takes it down. With no explanations. Also they where are billing me and charge my card on services. I did not request. I tried to reach out to fix a problem. They did not answer. In the end, my card company disputed the charges and refunded me the money.

Disappointing Experience for New Businesses

As a new business owner, I’ve found Yelp very difficult to use. The biggest issue is that several reviews left by my legitimate clients were removed, even after I personally asked them to share their honest experiences. Losing genuine reviews makes it much harder for new businesses to build credibility.
The platform feels frustrating, and because of this experience, I won’t be spending money on Yelp advertising in the future. I hope Yelp improves its review filtering process and provides more transparency for small businesses trying to grow.
