I have been using Yuna for a month during a difficult time and have seen a lot of changes in how I think, feel and act because of the insights this app pushed me to have. Makes me feel like healing is possible! 🌸
Yuna is great
I’ve been using Yuna for a few months and have been your beta tester. I’ve witnessed a lot of progress in this app. I’ve tried several mental support apps and It is the only app that could help my nervous system to go into equilibrium. Yuna is not perfect yet, sometimes it can be triggering, but I can see how much effort Yuna team is putting into this app, witnessing the progress it has made in just a few months. Easy to get the help you need asap

overcharged me by $100
This app overcharged me by $100, and neither Apple nor the developer will make it right. I’ve sent multiple emails to the developer with no response. Apple keeps saying it’s up to the developer to fix it. The lack of accountability is frustrating and unacceptable. Be very cautious with this service and its subscription terms. It feels like Yuna prioritizes profit over its users, which raises serious concerns about how they’re handling user data. Disappointed and deeply frustrated

Great app
This app is beneficial. It feels like I am talking to actual person full with empathy. I'm glad I found Yuna.

This is a really great tour for short brief emotional support. I think it helps you get through the day when you’re super busy. It also helps you process things in the moment instead of having to wait till the next appointment you have with a provider. It’s very simple easy to use. You can pick the person you talk to and it’s honestly like a great app. It’s awesome.

It will trigger you to keep you unhealed. I will provide proof.
I opened the app and mention I was feeling way better. It replied stating things along the line of one happy day does not erase the past. I found the response concerning and would not let the AI change the subject, it tried many times. Here is the response that made me delete it:

Not better than ChatGPT
They market themselves better than GPT and yes their style is different, but when you have to repeat your history, trauma, any issues, every day or if you reopen the app, that’s just horrible. How is it suppose to notice patterns etc if it can’t remember anything you shared earlier that day? I had a glitch with the app and had to get out and reopen the app. Everything that I shared had not been saved and when I asked what it was capable of storing it said that one talk as long as I didn’t leave the app or close it could be continued. But as far as what I had talked about, on her end it was now a new day, no memory of what I had shared. I see a therapist so I am not replacing treatment

App is great!
This is the first time using this Yuna app and I love it so much. I like to make my own session with my time to communicate with a AI coach where I’m able to choose a voice of the speaker, also speak on the microphone and text message during the session. My favorite part is seeing summary of my session and inspiring quotes. I recommend this app to a friend.

I downloaded the app to learn about it, never logged in or used it, got locked into a year subscription and after searching to find

This app is very helpful and the options of guided meditations and motivational quotes, along with being able to choose the voice of the AI therapist, who seems very at tuned and supportive when sharing, makes us a very useful app. I have not paid for it, I have only tried out the Free introductory version.

Scam
I cancelled on the last day of the trial, and they still charged me for a year. I wrote to them, and it was obvious they were having AI respond to me. The app is completely pointless, you can get all of this garbage for free on instagram.
*update* I tried to use the app and it doesn’t work at all. It gets stuck on a screen and you can’t do anything at all. It’s basically just a brick sitting on my phone now

Amazing app
It was going well until…
I was using this app for some time without an issue, until it started creeping me out. First there was some weird things I referred to as glitches, but then it got strange. There were a few times a random comment would be stated abruptly. I would ask why and there would be silence or some irrelevant comment that would not answer directly. For example, I would share an issue regarding a difficulty and the answer would be something like, ‘I can see why you might be experiencing this on this date’. It would state the actual date which I never referred to at all. The ironic thing is without ever sharing anything about that date there was significance to that particular date. So… I stopping using on a regular, because too many weird details and responses kept popping up. I feel too creeped out to renew my subscription.
It’s also very tiring to have all of this extensive paraphrasing for every single time you enter a session. It’s like overly done and very redundant. The good thing that I can say is that some of the exercises and the follow up suggestions are decent.
