Not worth it

I used this app when it was free and it doesn’t have much improvement. Don’t bother

everything is behind a paywall now

i used to use this app years ago and found it to be SO helpful to keep track of my fasts and how my body was during them. downloaded again after i had gained roughly 30 lbs from unexpected health issues and i can see basically nothing unless i pay for it. this is unfortunately not how the app used to be at all and was so disappointing.

I don’t recommend

It would let me cancel my subscription and they charged me $89.99

New interface sucks

Since moving functionality and ease of use behind the Zero Plus paywall the app has become difficult to use so I will be deleting it and moving to something else.

Look at What You’ve Become…

I’ve used Zero for years because it’s simple to use, but over the years I’ve noticed the escalating efforts to sell a Premium subscription which I understand from a business perspective. Today was the final straw, I couldn’t log a fast without agreeing to a free-seven day trial that I would have to consciously cancel in time if I didn’t want to be charged for a subscription plan. I really dislike this gotcha approach to tricking customers into buying something that they don’t want let alone removing the ability to say ‘no thanks’. Some of us just want to enjoy the solidity of the timer which no longer appears to be possible with this app. Very disappointing.

Only stupid AI for food tracking

Literally the only way to count calories is by using their stupid AI bot that gets it wrong half the time

Paywall ruined the app

Removing features from your members that have been with you for 6+ to make them subscribe is disgusting.

Money grab

How expensive can be it be letting people do their own work?

Scam

App is just like any other tracking app. Most you can get for free. This one costs $70/ year and I don’t even use it. Can’t request a refund. The app says to contact Apple. Apple says not refundable even though I don’t use it even after the one month trial. Used it for like 2 weeks

Not user friendly

I thought I’d like the app but absolutely hate it and I paid for the plus

Lag time is insane

The lag time to open the app itself is sometimes 15 to 20 seconds. This is 2026 and unacceptable. I used to have the paid version but tbh it wasn’t very valuable so I downgraded. Glad I didn’t keep paying for it.

Unskippable ads now

Sure do love logging in to the app and being blasted by a full screen add with a button to buy the full subscription.
There is no button to be able to skip or even exit the ad, and the only button shown is to purchase.

To get around this, you need to relaunch the app again until it decides not to show the ad.

Okay

Honestly had no issues with the app until their 40% promotion pop up started, three slides with no exit button until you get to the end, every time I open the ap. Enough dude, have a banner or something I can ignore. If i see it again I’m ready to find a different ap

Too many ads now

I recommended this app to at least 9 friends and now I am a little embarrassed. You know an app is a sales trap and trying to trick you when the Home Screen continues to default to the “Buy the app” page each time you open it. It used to be every once in a while, now it’s almost every time I open the app. Following that, it does not provide an X in a corner that you can click on to simply keep moving through the app. Instead you have to either click the link they shoved in your face or you have to swipe up and close the app and re-enter it. The amount of sales push down our throats to PAY for things is icky. Total turn off. This app has become tacky. The engineerings should be ashamed.

Spammy

Has become far too spammy, used to use this app a lot when I fasted in the past. Started again and defaulted to Zero for tracking - has changed so much for the worse. Uninstalled it and won’t come back.

Tried to force me into a subscription

I’ve used this app for years and then it started getting forceful with the subscription, to the point where I was unable to use the app until I signed up for a trial of Zero plus. I don’t want a trial. I just want to log my fasts, nothing more. I have since deleted the app

Great and free

I’ve been using for years, paid and unpaid and I’ve enjoyed both. Sometimes when I start a fast through a shortcut it doesn’t work so I would love if that could be fixed, same with the watch app. WOULD LOVE IF IT UTILIZED THE DYNAMIC ISLAND, had a live activity when you started a fast!!!

Cant use the app

I downloaded it and its telling me to do the free trial and not the free version i havent even used the app yet

Can’t use app without signing up for free trial

Logged in after not using the app for a while. It would not allow me to do anything without signing up for the free Plus trial. Instant uninstall

Non-skippable screens asking to start free trial

What’s up with the screens asking to start free trial that can’t be closed? (Have to keep the app). I already got used to regular reminders to subscribe, but these screens that have no close button is some dark UX pattern stuff. I guess it is time to look for simple and not bloated alternative
