Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Frontier Airlines at 1.3M against Avelo's 10K. Frontier Airlines also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (31% vs 11%). Avelo's advantage is iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Frontier Airlines holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4.
