5 stars for the cost and time and travel back and forth from Phoenix, Arizona to Dallas, Texas. Pricing is unbeatable for day trips or overnight trips where Frontier airline is available.
Hate updates
Why?!? Every time this app gets updated I have to re-enter my credentials and the system doesn’t recognize them. You are definitely low cost and low service. Terrible experience each time.
Probably the worst app ever created
This app is COMICALLY bad, WHY would you put a drop down field for state that DOES NOT WORK AND PREVENTS YOU FROM MAKING A PURCHASE?! Oh hey, here’s a great business idea - let’s make the point of sale process IMPOSSIBLE to make a sale from? Let’s see how much revenue we get this way 😂😂
Terrible service
My first time traveling with Frontier and I would never travel with them again. I had a small backpack as my personal item and they charged me $100 and switched my seat just so I can pay for my backpack. I was separated from sitting with my children when my seat was already with them and the entire row was empty the entire flight.
No one ended up sitting in the empty seat where my children was sitting and I even asked to go sit with my children and they told me no in a rude manner.
I didn’t understand why I couldn’t put my backpack under the seat like my children did theirs when there was so much room under the seat.
Same backpack I flew with Breeze airlines and was able to fit it under the seat with no problem.
Then they don’t offer you anything as complementary, not even a cup of water, everything you have to pay you for.
The ladies in the airport team were all rude they were not friendly and welcoming at all.
I am never traveling with Frontier Airlines again it was definitely my first and last time!!

Cheap trick
But the flight, as I usually do through, Orbitz had no idea that they weren’t going to allow me to get a carry-on without paying a ridiculous amount of money. Will not be flying Frontier in the future as long as this policy is in effect.
Broken app
Can’t book flights on it. Selecting arriving airport is bugged. Selected dates is bugged. Says “try again later” for the past few days.

I tried several times to change a simple flight. Same day for next week, same flight time and it’s constantly tells me to try later on or not able to retrieve data. Al throughout the entire day from different locations.
But if I call customer service they can do it but for a service fee of $16.
I tried thru the app and thru the website. None of them worked unless I pay extra which I didn’t need their help from customer service.
Is this another way to get an extra few dollars? Just because Frontier don’t want to let you do it in your own, but is doable for a fee.

Booking
Every time I book my flight and enter my card information, it tells me that my session expired. This has happened at least 3 times. Otherwise, it is easy to enter the information.

Literally can’t book a flight
I love frontier but the fact that on my iPhone I can’t book a flight because it says bad request: invalid input data every time I try to use the calendar is a terrible user experience. This is a major bug and should be addressed otherwise nobody will reliably depend on the app for booking.
Doesn’t work
This app is the worst, I have tried to uninstall, re-install, update did everything. I can’t download my boarding pass from this at all!
It’s frustrating to monitor the flight and changes that come with it. And second of all if you don’t have the boarding pass they will charge you $25 for it. It’s absurd!

Simple, affordable and easy
I enjoy using the frontier app, it is easy to use with its simple features and had plenty of options for affordable flights.
Still an awful app
I haven’t used frontier in 7 years because they were so hard to book for and I come back to try the app and it still doesn’t work. It doesn’t just not work one way, once you get one thing to work another thing doesn’t work.

I have been flying with Frontier for some time now and have been completely satisfied, the customer service was challenging once or twice but that didn’t spoil my experience. I was so impressed with frontier I moved to take them up on a credit card offer.
No boarding pass download option?
Could not download my boarding passes. Could not send it to the other passenger.
