Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Current at 197K against MyCOBenefits's 5.5K. Current also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). MyCOBenefits's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 58%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Current holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Current has 197K ratings behind it against 5.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Current's written reviews are positive against 67% of MyCOBenefits's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Current ships an update every 2 weeks, MyCOBenefits monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
