Verdict
Snackpass and Chubby Club both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Chubby Club's written reviews are positive against 26% of Snackpass's. Chubby Club also leads on chart position (#166 vs unranked). Snackpass's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 924) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Snackpass against 4.9 for Chubby Club. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snackpass has 10K ratings behind it against 924, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 26% of Snackpass's written reviews are positive against 61% of Chubby Club's.
Snackpass ships an update fortnightly, Chubby Club monthly. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
