Steady is a voice-first companion for the moments that take more out of you than they should — a meeting where your brain moves faster than the room, a presentation you're bracing for, a hard conversation you've been putting off, a dinner with new people. Built for how ADHD brains work. THREE STEPS PREPARE — Tell Steady about what's coming up using voice or keyboard. Steady asks follow-up questions, helps you build concrete IF-THEN plans, and pulls your attention outward — toward curiosity about the people in the room, away from internal rehearsal. HOLD — Your prep synthesizes into a glanceable notecard. Specific curiosity prompts about people you'll see. IF-THEN plans. A single anchor labeled "Come correct" — the intention you want to bring. Cream card on a dark app, like an index card in your pocket. DEBRIEF — Two timed reflection modes after the event: Quick Capture (60 seconds) or Full Debrief (5 minutes). Both timer-enforced and auto-saving at 0:00. Research shows time-limited reflection helps; unlimited reflection becomes rumination. Note what actually happened versus what you predicted. Done. Move on. NOT THERAPY This isn't treatment for social anxiety disorder. If you need clinical support, please see a professional. Steady is what you already try to do before the moments that matter — systematized so it actually works. Most apps want you to use them more. Steady wants you to need it less. Success looks like prepping mentally instead of in the app, noticing your fears rarely come true, and eventually graduating from needing the tool at all. FEATURES — Voice-first prep (typing also works) — Multi-turn AI conversation — Glanceable notecard on iPhone (Apple Watch on Premium) — 60-second Quick Capture or 5-minute Full Debrief — IF-THEN plan building during prep — Prediction comparison during debrief — Pattern insights as you build capacity — No streaks, no gamification, no shame PREMIUM — Apple Watch notecard (raise-to-wake glance) — Home Screen and StandBy widgets — Unlimited events (free tier: 3 events per month) WHO STEADY IS FOR The Meeting Underperformer — you know your stuff, but in the room you lose the thread, interrupt, or clam up. The High-Stakes Navigator — interviews, presentations, hard conversations. You want to stay grounded when it matters most. The Energy Manager — social situations drain you in ways they don't seem to drain others. You want a plan for sustainable participation, including a graceful exit. The Post-Event Replayer — you replay conversations at 2 AM. You want to process what happened without the rumination loop taking over. PRIVACY Your prep stays on your device by default. When you opt in to cloud-powered AI, prep conversation text is sent to Anthropic's Claude through a secure proxy — never to train models, never stored beyond the request.
