Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Debit & Credit at 2.4K against Account Tracker's 34. Debit & Credit also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Account Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and Debit & Credit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Debit & Credit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Debit & Credit has 2.4K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of Account Tracker's written reviews are positive against 89% of Debit & Credit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Account Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Debit & Credit every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
