Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Nest at 4.6 against Veent's 1.4. Nest also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 81 months) and ratings volume (2.6M vs 14). Veent's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
