Budgeter was created out of a desire to simplify 10 different Spreadsheets. Full of smart calculations, and malleable information; Budgeter will help you keep track of your income, how much you want to save, reoccurring expenses, and your day to day purchases. In simplicity, you simply add all of the information in, and Budgeter will give you back a daily/weekly/monthly budget for how much money you are left to spend. Not enough money? Lower some savings, cut some expenses. Make sure you are living within your means! Stress free and confident. Too much money (I wish this would happen more often) consider saving some more money for a rainy day, or save for a special trip.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Budgeter at none against Spending Tracker's 1. Budgeter also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Spending Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 1) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Budgeter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spending Tracker has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
