Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Pushie at free against Push ups's free with in-app purchases. Pushie also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Push ups's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 209) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Push ups against 4.9 for Pushie. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Push ups has 5K ratings behind it against 209, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 82% and 81% positive.
Push ups ships an update every 4 months, Pushie monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
