Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Candy Cloud Co at none against MOKA espresso.coffee.tea's shown. Candy Cloud Co also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MOKA espresso.coffee.tea's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Candy Cloud Co holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Candy Cloud Co has 2.6K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Candy Cloud Co's written reviews are positive against 80% of MOKA espresso.coffee.tea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Candy Cloud Co ships an update every 6 days, MOKA espresso.coffee.tea every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
