Mente is made for psychologists and psychotherapists in private practice. It keeps your schedule, session notes, treatment plans, client documents and payments in one app on your iPhone or iPad. No account needed, and client records are never stored on our servers. YOUR DAY IN ONE VIEW Open Mente to see today's sessions on a timeline, with breaks and free time marked. Today's priorities shows what's still open: sessions to prepare for, notes to finish, tasks and unpaid sessions. Schedule one-off or recurring sessions, and Mente suggests free times that fit your working hours. BEFORE AND AFTER EACH SESSION Before a session, read your last note, current objectives, recent life events and the next steps you agreed on. Afterwards, write a structured note and turn next steps into tasks linked to the client's plan. EVERYTHING ABOUT A CLIENT IN ONE PLACE Each client has one record: contact details, sessions, notes, plans with their objectives, and tasks. Plans show how many objectives have been reached, so progress is easy to follow. With Mente Pro, the complete timeline lists everything in the order it happened, and you can search all of it. CLIENT DOCUMENTS, READY TO SHARE Mente includes three standard documents: • Privacy Notice • Professional Services Agreement • Client Intake and History Form Before a first session, share all three as one PDF. Mente fills them in on your device from the details you've saved, and you preview each PDF before sharing. The templates and preview are free. Mente Pro lets you edit clauses and fields, add ready-made intake sections for minors, couples and families, add your logo and services, create your own documents and restore earlier versions. Mente notes when a document was shared. It doesn't keep completed PDFs, client answers or signatures, and can't confirm receipt or signing. APPOINTMENT MESSAGES YOU SEND YOURSELF Write an appointment message, check it and send it from your own email or messaging app. Mente never sends anything by itself. With Mente Pro, save your own templates, get a reminder when it's time to send and keep a log of prepared messages (Mente doesn't store their text). You can also export sessions as .ics files, no sync required. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Your practice records stay on your iPhone or iPad. Sensitive data is encrypted and protected by your device's security hardware. Mente opens only with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and locks again 30 seconds after you leave the app. Export a password-protected .mente backup, CSV tables or a client summary PDF at any time. Once a file leaves Mente, its safety depends on where you save or send it. FREE, WITH PRO WHEN YOU NEED MORE Free with no subscription and no time limit: client records, sessions, clinical notes, treatment plans, tasks, payment tracking, manual backups and the standard document templates. Mente Pro adds: • Session preparation and the complete timeline, with search • More note templates, your own templates and local reminders • Custom documents, your practice logo and version history • Optional encrypted iCloud backup, protected by a Recovery Key • Optional two-way sync with Apple Calendar • Your own message templates and a log of prepared messages If Mente Pro ends, your data stays on your device. Manual backup, restore and all free features keep working; iCloud backup pauses until you renew. Mente is a tool for administration and documentation. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment or provide emergency services. PERMISSIONS • Contacts: only if you import a contact • Calendar: only if you turn on Apple Calendar sync • Notifications: only for local session and task reminders • iCloud: only if you turn on encrypted iCloud backup Terms of Use (Apple Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://heuristicapps.io/apps/mente/privacy-policy.html

About

Therapy Notes Keyboard NoteKey

Features

Your notes, your words, your phone. No recording, no cloud, no AI scribe listening to your sessions. NoteKey is the iOS keyboard for therapists, psychologists, LCSWs, LPCs and LMFTs: note skeletons that expand with tap-through fill-in fields, an intervention phrase library organized by modality, and autocorrect that finally knows CBT from DBT and clomipramine from chlorpromazine. It works in every app you already write in: your EHR, Notes, email, telehealth platforms. NOTE SKELETONS THAT FILL THEMSELVES Type .dap and the whole progress note scaffolds itself. Tap through the fill-in fields instead of hunting with the caret, and a progress chip tracks where you are in the note. 15 templates at launch, including SOAP, DAP, BIRP, GIRP, intake summary, mental status exam, risk assessment, safety plan review, telehealth, group, couples and family, treatment plan review and discharge. AN INTERVENTION PHRASE LIBRARY 69 original clinical sentence stems tagged by modality: CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, EMDR, person-centered, psychodynamic, family and substance use. Filter by modality, search, tap to insert. When your caret is standing in a skeleton field, the Phrases tab opens already filtered to that section, so the interventions you need are the ones you see. AUTOCORRECT THAT KNOWS CLINICAL WORDS A psychiatric lexicon compiled from open National Library of Medicine data. Medication names, clinical vocabulary and instrument names like PHQ-9 and GAD-7 are protected, so autocorrect stops rewriting them into something else. Look-alike medication names never cross-correct into each other. DICTATION THAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Talk your note and Apple's on-device speech recognition transcribes it. Audio is never stored and never transmitted. NoteKey formats what you said into note shape, then returns you to exactly where you were typing. SESSION TOOLS A session timer and a words-typed count live in the keyboard's own header, so the note stays on pace without leaving the field. SPECIALTY PACKS Four packs at launch: CBT, EMDR, family and substance use. Each adds terms, templates and phrases tuned to how you actually work. WHAT IS FREE Full typing, autocorrect and the clinical lexicon never expire and never nag. The free tier includes 3 note skeletons with fill-in fields, 5 custom snippets, 20 expansions a day, 1 specialty pack, and browsing the whole phrase library. WHAT PRO ADDS All 15 skeletons, unlimited snippets and expansions, phrase insert, dictation, session tools and all 4 specialty packs. Monthly, yearly with a 14-day free trial, or a one-time founding lifetime purchase. PRIVACY, BY ARCHITECTURE The keyboard contains no networking code at all. Turn on Airplane Mode and it behaves identically, because it never had anything to send. There are no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and we run no servers holding your content. Nothing you type leaves your phone. NoteKey is a documentation tool. It does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment and does not provide dosing. Its templates are documentation scaffolds and contain no clinical advice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://kamal-no-bot.github.io/notekey-legal/
