Verdict
Omada and RecoveryOne both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of RecoveryOne's written reviews are positive against 41% of Omada's. RecoveryOne also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). Omada's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (95K vs 184). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Omada against 4.6 for RecoveryOne. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Omada has 95K ratings behind it against 184, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 41% of Omada's written reviews are positive against 73% of RecoveryOne's.
Omada ships an update weekly, RecoveryOne every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and August 10, 2026 respectively.
