Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: LoungeKey at 17K against Dragonpass's 382. LoungeKey also leads on review sentiment (22% vs 11%). Dragonpass's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for LoungeKey against 4.7 for Dragonpass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LoungeKey has 17K ratings behind it against 382, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of LoungeKey's written reviews are positive against 11% of Dragonpass's.
LoungeKey ships an update fortnightly, Dragonpass weekly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
