About

DNA Lock

Features

DNA Lock keeps your genome private and puts you in charge of who reads it. Sequence your DNA once with an at-home kit from your healthcare provider. Your genome is encrypted, split into pieces and locked to your phone. When a doctor, clinic or telehealth service needs your genetics, you see exactly what they're asking for and decide whether to share it. YOU DECIDE WHO SEES WHAT • Every request shows who is asking, why, and which DNA regions they want to read • Nothing is shared until you approve it • Only the regions you approve are unlocked, and only for that request • A receipt for every approval is kept on your device COLLECT YOUR SAMPLE AT HOME • Connect your kit by scanning its code • Guided steps walk you through the swab and sealing your tube • Ship it back to the lab and follow it from registration to results PRIVATE BY DESIGN • The key to your DNA stays on your phone. No server ever holds it • Post-quantum encryption (NIST-standard ML-KEM and ML-DSA), built to hold up against future quantum computers • Unlock with Face ID, and choose when the app locks itself • Optional encrypted iCloud backup, so a new phone doesn't mean starting over READY FOR EVERY APPOINTMENT Your genome is read one time. After that, scan your provider's code at each visit, in person or online, and approve the request in seconds. FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY Add profiles for your children and keep each person's DNA and approvals separate. DNA Lock works with DNA kits from participating doctors, clinics and telehealth services. DNA Lock is not a diagnostic tool and does not give medical advice. Any genetic analysis is interpreted by your healthcare provider.
