Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Purchasing Power at 4.8 against Prezzee eGift cards's 4.3. Purchasing Power also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (32K vs 4.1K). Prezzee eGift cards's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (32% vs 21%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Purchasing Power holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purchasing Power has 32K ratings behind it against 4.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Purchasing Power's written reviews are positive against 32% of Prezzee eGift cards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Purchasing Power ships an update every 2 months, Prezzee eGift cards every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
