Garbage

This app is atrocious. It’s basically an electronic brochure and if there’s any functionality it’s impossible to find under the layers of nonsense.

Hotel is great; app is lousy

In re: One Hotel Hanalei Bay - the hotel itself is phenomenal, but the 1 Hotels App is basically worthless.

Clunky and annoying

Can’t even log in the app, takes you in a loop. Super clunky, bad experience.

Second tier app

Way better than version 1, which didn’t work. But even this one is glitchy an unusable. Can’t even book a room without freezing. Constant asks to log in again

App Is Nearly Unusable

It’s wild that a brand like 1Hotels has an app this clunky - their unintuitive, buggy UX feels like it’s from 2009. This app is lazy and borderline unusable; clearly hasn’t been QAd. It feels like it was built by a contractor or agency, not an in-house team dedicated to making the experience seamless. This app is not maintained well and does not follow industry-standard best practices for mobile product design. I’m surprised a ‘young’ brand like this has an app that feels like it was built by boomers… or for a downmarket hotel chain. For the prices they charge for rooms, it’s criminal for the app to be this unusable. Crazy priorities for a hotel that encourages use of the app for key experiences as well (look room service, key cards, etc).

App doesn’t work

The app doesn’t let you log in to your account. Awful platform

Can’t create accound

I filled everything out and clicked the botton and nothing is happening.

Can’t log in

I’ve typed in my credentials many many times, but it won’t show me anything other than the little progress sign next to log in. Please fix this

Garbage

This app is garbage. It doesn’t work at any of their locations- consistently. I’m currently in Seattle and it doesn’t work at all! You login in- and are sent right back to the login page, where it “spins” for a moment and then…. Nothing. I’ve deleted the app close to a dozen times. Reinstalled. Tried with WiFi, without WiFi, with cellular, without cellular, no VPNs, with blue tooth and without. It’s ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! The execs that approved the launch of this app should let it go, and start over. It’s not worth losing customers to keep an app that isn’t serving your business or the ones who are financially making that business possible.

Can’t login

App won’t let me login

Very Pretty, Poorly Built

Technically has never functioned connect. Almost impossible to add a reservation not booked through the app. It’s very pretty but doesn’t function for critical tasks.

Worst at Basic Mobile Functionality

I downloaded the app at Hanalei Bay after checking in, because I was promised cool features to help me with my stay.

It is slow and trades function away for aesthetics, kind of like the hotel.

The screens don’t scroll in a way that allows you to create an account on an iPhone. It keeps locking up and won’t scroll to where you can enter additional information or push buttons to register. I had to go to the website just to register so I could login on the app to use it. And even logging in was a hassle for the same reason.

Also, they use text messaging to connect with the hotel, so that part of the app is kind of useless.

Garbage

I’ve been trying for 20
Minutes to verify my account. This is a ridiculous waste of time.

The app browser

The browser is terrible it takes you to a page that cannot load the page it’s bd

Five Stars

Class, Heavy, 5 Stars

Second tier app

Way better than version 1, which didn’t work. But even this one is glitchy an unusable. Can’t even book a room without freezing

5 star location, 2 star service

I think the title says it all. Just so many service misses it’s hard to number them. The app is clunky too. Whipping open the blinds in the morning is an amazing treat though, the bay is gorgeous.

Slow and Faulty

The app is awful. I’ve tried it on WiFi and cellular and it’s slow! Nothing saves, check in was a nightmare and I had to scan my documents multiple times to no avail. Ended up having to check in at the hotel. I made multiple reservations for wellness classes before my arrival and only one saved into the system, so we missed out on the opportunity. I’m not sure why everyone is rating it 5 stars because it’s truly a faulty and poorly made app.

Useless

Downloaded the app to check in, but unable to do so because the save button doesn’t work when trying to add (required) secondary guest info. Oh well… it looks lovely though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love to chat!

Its great that you can chat with any of the hotels from the app. Helped us plan our arrival.
