  • Amazing product, Awesome experience

I’ve been using this for many years by now and the experience is really great. Each version bring tons of improvements. Great work JIRA TEAM 👍
  • The most useful app for work as a developer

I have installed his app as my coworkers have recommended it. I was skeptical but this app has made my life so easy. Pm creates a story I get a notification, design uploads a design url or qa provides a comment you get a notification. Yes you might think it will send you too much notifications but personally for an important task this app is a gift. Don’t change anything from the app. Love.

  • Ok if you use basic Jira but no plugin support

We use Zephyr plugins for Jira Cloud and these are not supported by the app. So the app is really much use to us.
  • Yes yes yes! Finally

Beautifully built app. Fluid and easy to use on mobil. To be honest I was scared that it wouldn’t be built properly but looks like I had nothing to worry about
  • Poor (or hidden) documentation

I can’t figure out how to add an issue to a sprint on the mobile app. I suspect this is supported as a “sprint” field is shown in the 4th screenshot of the app listing, but I don’t see that in my app. I clicked the “App Support” link in the App Store and searched “add issue to sprint”, returning a bunch of articles about the Web version of JIRA, with no way to filter for articles about the mobile app. I also checked for a link in the app but only found a “send feedback” link.

Hi, sorry to hear that it is difficult to find what you need in our documentation. To add an issue to a sprint: In the issue details screen, where you see list of fields, tap on 'See more'. This will display more fields for the particular issue including Sprint. If you still have trouble finding it, please email us at jira-mobile@atlassian.com.
  • Need to fix auth

Great app, but it’s inability to remember login credentials properly makes it utterly unreliable for accessing JIRA on the go.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the feedback Somebru! The app should remember your login indefinitely, as long as you the app at least once every 28 days. Please reach out to us on jira-mobile@atlassian.com if you get logged out repeatedly and we'll help to fix this problem. Thanks!
  • A very good app

This app keeps getting better very quickly. I really enjoy the responsiveness of the dev team. Features seem to be added every other week. While not every feature that I would like to have is here, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time (and not much at that)

I wish I could see who’s on a watchlist, but most importantly, I’d like to be able to triage tickets here (I.e. move tickets to different boards, link issues, etc)

  • Cannot switch repositories

I have a need to access a separate JIRA account on a separate JIRA repository, however, when I sign out, or even delete the app upon reinstallation I can only provide the credentials for the initial repository/URL I provided. There is no feature to reset this. I’ve tried the app’s settings as well as the iOS Settings to try and find a way to completely reset the app.

Please add a way to be able to sign onto multiple repositories/URLs, this would be incredibly handy.

  • Better than the browser version.

The app is a lot easier to navigate and find boards you are attached to. The notifications on the app are much better than browser. You are able to see all notifications and find issues easy.

This app could be a little better, would be nice to see a dashboard with all tickets that I am assigned to. (Same for the for the browser version)

If your working on one projects it’s fine as you can find the active boards and sprints. But when working on multiple projects/clients is a little difficult to keep track on what project your viewing/tickets assigned to you for that project.

Take a a little getting use to with navigation but this app is a easier and quicker to use as notifications do not disappear, and linked to tickets that you need to address.

Thanks for the great feedback and feature requests. Have you tried the "Assigned" list of issues in the Issues tab? That list shows you all your assigned issues across all projects. Also you can pull down the boards as filter only the issues assigned to you. Hope that helps!
  • Good overall app, using Jira on the go

The app experience feels a lot better than the website which I find very cluttered and many clicks to get to what I need.

One feature that would make the app a “must have” would be the ability to create a ticket on the backlog while you are not in front of your computer. Many times an idea come for an issue/improvement while you may not be in the office but have your phone with you. Creating a quick ticket on the go would be great.

Thanks, we indeed need to add quick creation on the backlog and we will. Meanwhile you can create issues in the "Issues Tab". Or, if your phone supports 3D touch, you can 3D touch the app icon and create a ticket right away.
