A lot to like in 1.8
Ignore the naysayers here. The new version 1.8 is attractive and functional. Like major software revisions, it had a few bugs and has attracted a small number of users who are resistant to change. Roon quickly squashed the major bugs and continues to refine this app. There is a lot to like about the new version compared to previous versions.Show lessToollio
Questionable Design
In my opinion this release has been created with mobile devices in mind. If you use a computer with a bit screen the screen space it’s very inefficiently used. Unless you are visually impair or you like this kind of blocking style design this release is not for you. I do find this marketing idea that this has been created with a museum in mind funny. New Roon app is amazing
The UI upgrade is a breath of fresh air and makes it easy to get around a large library. I love the way the update brings my music to the forefront and encourages me to listen more.

Room 1.8 update
This version of Roon was launched in Feb 2021 and by Roon's admission, was not properly designed, nor tested and judging by the increase in posts throughout the Roon forums, prematurely released. Which is unfortunate. A wonderful version 1.7 preceded this disaster which is 1.8. Caution, once IOS is updated, it cannot be reversed. Stay away from this IF you are already a happy 1.7 user.Show lesssad Roon
Crashes
This app deserves a better rating than two stars. Unfortunately on my iPhone it crashes constantly (about every 5 to 60 seconds). Has been happening for months, and it appears others are experiencing the same problem. The iPad app does not seem to have the same issue. When the app works without crashing I will be happy to raise my rating.Show lessFleet117
Great update
Right away, thankful for the larger volume sliders on my iOS phone! And for the more airy interface and controls overall. Much easier now.
Like the new looks and features to discover new online music and explore my library.
Still wishing for live sync with my Tidal playlists like BluOS can do but Roon is still the most versatile and powerful tool for my multi room setup.Show lessKLD10

Crashes when entering the settings
First off all, the iPhone Apps looks good and works fine.
iPad App is always crashing when I try to open the setting as I wanted to change to the dark-mode.johme1970
Remote for beat home audiophile setup
This is a iPhone remote app for Roon, which is a paid software service that ties in streaming and your own high res files. Audiophile. Awesome.
It could use some more iOS features like swipe.yopyopyop
