But 3 stars because the search is not super great. I want to be able to find something and find it quick.
And the messaging!! Ugh that the worst part:( the notifications are awful and if they could make a better way to get notifications that would be great. More like text notifications please!!! Sounds and all option!

Pretty decent for a non-native app
3D/Haptic Touch options, links in emails that open the app, not a terrible and RAM hungry Mac app. No crashes so far.
The only complaints I have are if the Mac app is open, then you don’t get a reminder email or notification for checking in. And the command+J search option doesn’t provide the six options listed in each project on the default list before you type anything. Would make things a bit faster. Although you can search for them, of course. The team has taken advantage of just about every menu.
Bugs:

Perfect for FIRST Robotics Teams
Basecamp is the perfect fit for our teams. Its the perfect balance of chat, to dos management, docs and files sharing and team message board. The mobile and desktop app are working flawlessly and making project management a lot easier.
The best part is that it teaches students real time collaborations and allow us to break down projects in smaller team. Highly recommend!

I would live in this if it had a dark mode!
This is an excellent start but still feels a little on the thin side and definitely glaring for those of us with sensitive eyes.
BASECAMP IS 🔥
Basecamp has honestly saved my life, before I would just go back and forth on emails but using this has help me keep on top of projects. Totally recommend it.
Suggestion to developers
Love this app! Provides a great mobile experience that replicates the desktop experience.
One suggestion for the developers: please change the write message function so that the user can see the message they are replying to. I’ve found myself often having to close the message I’m writing just to see what the previous message was that I’m writing my reply to.
Other than that this app and software is amazing!

Critical for our business
Since adopting Basecamp roughly 4 years ago, it has become integral to running our small (>30) fabrication business. It excels at team communication and client interaction. The iOS apps are a great way to keep in the loop when on the road or walking around the shop floor.
Awesome tool for group work
I use Basecamp as a technology tool for 1st and 2nd year post-secondary students when doing group work. Most of them have never heard of it and once they realize how versatile and easy it is, they love it. It also allows me to see how they are progressing with assignments and who may not be pulling their weight!
