Decent App, but needs work
I am currently using this app, and I like it. However, it could be better. I am not able to figure out how to save a video clip and email it to a recipient. That is an important feature that must be added to give this app a 5 star

It’s astonishing to me that this device and app has so many horrible reviews. I recently purchased the camera on a whim because I was going to be out of town for a few weeks, and there’s a lot of turnover at my complex So just needed assurance and peace of mind that my place would be safe and free of intrusion. I had no idea remote surveillance could be this easy and sooo affordable! This gem was perfectly easy for this tech dunce to set up despite all the other complaints, and the app never failed to connect to the camera while I was away. My only quibble is that the alerts are too darned sensitive, and go off constantly, particularly when there’s no apparent movement. There are 4 settings, and even when I notched it down one it was still hyper-sensitive. Now back at home I’m hoping I can simply turn off notifications completely, or unplug the camera until I’m away again. Wish there was simply an on/off button on the camera, that would be perfection. So happy with it I may just order a few more to have on hand just because they’re an absolute steal...thanks TENVISTY.👏🏽

Removed upload by FTP Feature
The developer removed the ability to upload videos by FTP function without alerting users. This is wrong because A) this feature is is/was still listed on the product page and 2) it’s still listed on the printed user manual and digital manual. Older apps bundled with Tenvis web cameras still offer this feature, making things more bizarre. I can’t recommend this companies hardware or software no longer.

Buggy, issues.
Even when the sensitivity is set low, the get nonstop push alerts. The camera can pick up its own internal sounds when it switches from regular to night vision.
What’s really bad is that I can’t fast forward the recorded videos from my phone. I’ll have to go get a separate device (not Apple) which can read micro SD cards. It’s odd to sell an app on iTunes that pushes customers to use other devices.

An Update that backdates
I can no longer set alarm settings, can’t change the time zone, the camera has stopped recording alarm clips and the App can’t correct problems. Time to change to a more reliable manufacturer AVOID TENVIS !!
Would've been nice
At first I was happy with the camera and app. But as others have stated also, it only works for like a day, then the camera is disconnected the next time you get on the app, and if your not home, sometimes there's no way to get it pulled up. It just stops working and you're constantly having to reboot it when you get home or reconnect, therefore if you needed it for recording something, you never get that data and if you did, it's gone before you can save it because guess what? It rebooted again

Having had 4 cameras for several months, one by one they have all failed. **Beware**
Super easy to set up and works perfectly
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Within minutes I had my camera connected to this app and now I can control the camera and view it on my iPhone. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I have not lost connection with the camera yet. I’m very happy that my $32 camera works as well as an expensive nest camera.

Doesn’t work
Camera doesn’t work keeps saying wrong password or buffers for ages.
Getting worse
Can no longer adjust the picture quality setting, swipe to move is a pain and a few other issues with detection. Really needs an update soon.
