Could use improvement

The software functions but the interface is very poor. The first issue is the control screen is monochromatic, blue page background and white letters etc. When the unit is running there’s no indication such as “ON” or “Running”. No color changes, like green for on and yellow for off etc. The only text is in the button indicator which reads “Power Off” which is confusing. The use of the word “Power” in itself is confusing. I would like to see “Turn Off” instead and the opposite when unit is not running. Anyway, it would be nice to be able to change the control screen to my liking.

Nice but…

Overall, great app, devices work well, but feels like there’s not enough attention to UI details, two examples: 1) The list of devices should be glanceable as to on/off state (to start). I should not have to read to know what’s on/off. 2) To turn all your devices on or off at same time, you must place them in a group, which seems like a universal use case. But if you do that, they don’t show up on the Home Screen, but are now a click away. Seems silly. 3) I’d like buttons for clicking temperature up and down by one degree. The dial UI looks fancier, but is slowe and less precise to use. Overall, great and recommended, but needs a bit more polish.

Don’t waste your money

I purchased this to control a mini split at a vacation home. It turns the unit on just fine but it never turns it off per the schedule. I had to put a blink camera in just to see the wall unit so I could telling it was on or off which has been ok but not ideal. That is till tonight, the unit turned on per the schedule but did not turn off. I went into the app like ai do every day to shut it off and now it won’t shut off even when sending it the off command. Hopefully the power will go out and the ac will stay off when the power comes back on. Total hunk of junk and reaching out to the developers is a waste of time.

Website is useless to troubleshoot.

There is no FAQ or other guidance on the website. Yes the unit easily connected to the internet and as easily connected to my mini split Daikin.
I can’t seem to get app to behave. Can’t set the temperature to less than 64.
How do I sync to Alexa?

App does not display properly.

Just purchased a Cielo Breeze today and really disappointed that the app screen to control comfy modes does not display properly. Don’t waste your time with these guys.

Comfy setting is useless

There are four comfy temperature time frames (morning, afternoon, evening and night) that one would think would only be active during those times. However, it is not the case and it is not clearly stated the hours those time frames are active and the app only allows you to use one at a time. That being said, we set the app to the night comfy setting thinking that it is only active at night (again time frame not stated or adjustable) to keep the room from dropping between the set low temp and it works for that, but it also over rides the schedule we have in place throughout the day. So regardless of the temperature setting we select for our schedule the comfy setting turns the heat pump off when the high comfy temperature setting is reached. This is maddening. Seems as though there was no thought but into the app features. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Solid - Sync and Temp Adj need work

App seems to be working well and is consistently producing the requested action on our mini split. If you are trying to use your remote and the app concurrently to operate a mini split then you’ll need to watch out for inconsistencies in what the app thinks the split is set to and what the remote thinks it is. Also I know this is a pretty basic thing but the slider to adjust the temperature would really benefit from up and down buttons to adjust the temp by a single unit at a time. Slider sometimes blows past the temperature I’m trying to get to.

Latest iPhone Version doesn’t work properly

With the latest iPhone version, the room temperatures on the iPhone don’t automatically update unless you actually change the temperature setting for each room. It only shows the temperature the previous time you checked which could have been days earlier. It does work on the iPad. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

New version doesn’t sync temps and Alexa doesn’t work well

New all version no longer syncs to the right temp, so app is not very useful. Also Alexa commands are either unsupported or have to say a very specific way, also not very useful. Will not be recommending or buying another one. It could be great but the app needs to work much better than it does for the price of the device. If I had known it was useless I’d have just gotten a not smart thermostat for a lot less or just used the remote that came with the split. Lot of money to waste for a useless product. Worked better before the update.
