  • Wonderful!

As a long time Cedars patient it’s wonderful to be able to access notes/after visits summaries from the physicians on my care team, upcoming appointments/visits(including e check in), prescriptions(including some refill requests), test/imaging results, your upcoming preventative care checklist -(at Cedars it is patient centered care-this just exemplifies not only the quality of care but also the compassion, understanding..and all of the doctors do work together as a team this network both for them and for patients allows your updated information to be accessible to them and to you) it’s very user friendly (both the site and app) you can also send a message to your physician, access billing, history. You can also make an appointment if you need urgent care and access teleheath. Definitely recommend!

  • Slow, clunky.

So let’s start with the good: yes it can do all the things listed and detailed in other reviews. I can talk to my doctor, I can get led refills. All that.

THE BAD: it is not a smooth app. In fact it lags and feels very bulky to use. Most apps if you tap a button or a tab, you can get to where you need to go. With this app, it’s like I have to press and hold or forcibly double tap. I just got a notification that I have a new message, and the app won’t even let me log in even after doing Face ID.

So does it do it’s job? When it works, yes. Is it smooth and seamless? No. It feels very bulky and slow.

  • Great App to Track and Manage Your Medical Treatment!

The Cedars-Sinai "My CS-Link" app is a fantastic way to track and manage every aspect of your Cedars Group medical care, including communicating with doctors via messaging, keeping track of appointments, pre-appointment check-in, access to test results, prescription ordering and refill requests, and account management. The app is clear and intuitive. It has been truly indispensable for me, both for routine medical matters and, even more so, during my recent cancer treatment. The app is tied into the My CS-Link website, but I'm on the go so the mobile access is more useful than the PC/Mac access.

By the way, the Samuel Oschin Cancer Center at Cedars is incredible. It's a one-stop center for treatment. All under one roof is a team of doctors and other caregivers who provide a wrap-around treatment program for cancer treatment and recovery, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, pain management treatment, imaging, psychiatry, speech therapy, physical rehab, and licensed support counseling. All the caregivers work as a coordinated team, reading each other's case notes over time and meeting regularly to discuss patients. Everyone is expert, caring, and kind.

  • My Breast Cancer Surgery (Invasive Lobular Carcinoma)

On June 6th, I went for my annual mammogram. They called me later the same day to say I should follow-up with an ultrasound. The day of the ultrasound, they called me back within a couple of hours to say I needed a Biopsy. Three days later, I received a call confirming malignancy. I was referred to Dr Jeannie Shen and the surgery was scheduled. Dr Shen, her entire team, and everyone I dealt with at Hill Randall Breast Center —all treated me with the utmost respect and in a most professional and compassionate way. From the receptionist, to the surgeon, I felt as if I was in the hands of people who really cared. Today is my 6th day since surgery. I am coming along very well and I’m very grateful.

  • My experience with Crdars

I was with Kaiser since I was a child until a year or so ago and after Kaiser UCLA Health after leaving Kaiser.

I have, in the majority my employed years, worked with measuring devices like residential and Commercial Water meters as repairer, testing for accuracy and both field and shop field.

Later specifying purchasing and setting up Computers for specific users dependent on their tasks in a University Center of Excellence for 10 years.

Rarely have I been so satisfied as with my choice to chose Cedars Sinai as my Healthcare Provider.

Always professional, always keeping up with any follow ups I need, without fail.

Cedars also offers, based on our meetings what I need and when and explains why I should consider what health solutions they are offering.

Having seen two healthcare professionals to date and bring as through as I try to be I have never felt somehow less than them.

We, myself and Healthcare provider here always feel like a “team” which is what I strive for. Patient and Professional working to keep me safe.

    Thank you Cedars

Here’s to a long, healthy and continuous relationship

  • My hospital stay.

The care I received at the hospital was exceptional. All the staff were pleasant, caring and compassionate. The bed was the most comfortable hospital bed I was ever in.

Navigating through the ER was a different story. I was ushered through in record time. Tests were done and I was to be admitted. The nurse I had over night took such good care of me. Before she left at 7:30 am, she told me someone would be around about 8 with breakfast. Finally about 10:30 my husband and son brought me an Eggslut. I ended up being in ER waiting for a room for over 27+ hours. No one checked on me, no one checked my vitals no medicine and sharing a bathroom with individuals who apparently were not used to indoor plumbing. It was a total nightmare.

  • Completely unusable buggy app

Downloaded this app on my iPhone 13 logged with my Cedars patient account. There’s many issues with this app. It’s not been fully tested and has multiple defects. First, many pages do not render properly. Input fields are obscured by text. When making an appointment (while logged in), you are taken through the steps and upon submit, it asks you to log in even though I’m already logged it. Complete login again and submit appointment request, I’m taken to a blank page with a large low res Cedars logo and then nothing. Request is not processed and there’s no way back or out. Total fail.

  • Under construction

I’m just finding a significant delay between the emails that tell me new information is at the CS link and the actual information showing. Additionally, if you already installed the app but you use the link sent to you in the email it doesn’t access the app on your phone and or device.
When using the scheduling tool, even though I was told to contact a local office in Pasadena at redirected me to the mark taper facility over an hour away. It offers click to cancel, but still requires a phone call in a whole time you can’t just cancel an appointment even if it’s future dated.

  • Cedars-Sinai Mobile App

The Cedars-Sinai App is very simple to use and has made my life easier. Looking at my test results, scheduling appointments, up coming appointments, dates and texts reminders, appointments added to my calendar with ease, access to my Doctors names and phone numbers. This App is fantastic and I highly recommend it for any patient of Cedars-Sinai. Five Stars!

  • You can send messages

I like having a place where the doctor can post test records and surgeries with outcomes.

Communication is dependent on who monitors the app at CS. A message pop up says to wait 48 hours for a reply. Then what?

I’ve found that communication with CS is problematic, and this app helps somewhat. But I suppose communication with a big monolithic organization is never easy.
