Terrible
When I opened the box I thought tis remote was going to be great. Then I installed the app and thought I better return it. It’s the most basic, not user friendly app I’ve seen in the last few years. First, the device options change. It initially had an option to add an Amazon STB (didn’t know Amazon had cable/satellite) so I tried to add my fire TV that way, since there isn’t a code for it and the brands in the “add media” don’t include Amazon. At this point I’m wondering why they have an Amazon shortcut at all. Then I gave up and added a cable box, once I did that, the Amazon STB option was replaced with an Amazon game option, which (no surprise) doesn’t work either. Also, the search box in the add media doesn’t allow you to enter text to search for a brand. I also tried the “find remote” option, it gave me some error. Long story short: Save your money, this remote is not worth $60!!Show lessVV249

This app Mail setting up the remote extremely easy. It also helps to have a remote finder for when we slayed the remote in between the cushions, which happens more often than one would think.applebit924

Easy remote setup
Excellent simple app. Connected to remote first time, reconfigured TV to a new device in a couple of steps. Easier than following instruction manual. No bells and whistles needed, and remote didn’t lose connection like other commenters have stated.Jono_77

I don't get those below who've had problems? I took 5 minutes to replace 3 remotes using my iPhone 6:
- Denon AV home cinema receiver
- Panasonic STB recorder/bluray
- Samsung TV
The Bluetooth connection was stable.
Access to the huge database of products was easy.

Useless
Words can’t describe how abysmal this app is but I’ll try. 9 times in 10 the remote doesn’t stay paired long enough to do anything. When it does it seems very reluctant to load the remote settings. When it does load settings it immediately drops the connection. In short it’s utter rubbish.Noiseboy2007
