No bad - but could be a better

First of all it all works rather well. The Hub and app are backwards compatible with my powered blinds they are several years old. The app give you the ability for basic up / Down control but only allows you to control a full room with the basic commands.

The secret for advanced control and the ability to voice control single blinds within a group is to use set up scenes in the Neo app. Search for the scene in Alexa app (best way is to disable the Neo app in Alexa and re-add) and then tie that scene into an Alexa routine.

With a little patient you can get pretty much everything done via voice.

Also my house is quite large and the Louvolite hub doesn’t have any issues communicating with any of the blinds.

Quick setup and works well

I installed the Neo hub and app with no issues; very easy and quick (15 min).
Unsure if the hub would work with my blinds, I reached out to the Neo sales team. They quickly responded and ensured me it would work, which it does.
Cheap solution to allow me to control my blinds via wifi or cellular. Looking forward to Apple’s integration of Matter/ HomeKit.

Blinds app doesn't work well

This blind app doesn't work half of the time. When programmed with a schedule it often doesn't respond. Asked the blinds to close at night instead they open. Can't tell where the blinds are positioned.
Would be nice to have more than 1 favourite for the blinds.
Consider buying other blinds that don't use this app. It is in serious need of an update

Once it works, it works.

The app is ok, but could seriously use more documentation for actually setting up the blinds. The section “Advanced Settings” has 0 documentation and all of the magic for setting up your blinds, setting limits, adjusting default settings, etc is found there. The app works great with Alexa. Technical Support is excellent.

Great customer service

I reached out their customer service with my blinds remote pictures and within 15 minutes I got the reply from them with the proper code to be used in the app with full steps and details…… it worked great since then.

Worked in less than 5 minutes

I change Internet providers and my blinds stopped working. I tried for three days to do this on my own, however I could not reconnect them. One call to David and my blinds were working in less than five minutes. He knew just what he was doing and was able to guide me through the process quickly. I am so thankful.

Works well

I believe the low ratings this app has received are mostly of a much older version of the app. Everything I have attempted to do with the app has been successful and largely painless (adding shades, adding rooms, pairing shades, creating schedules, and linking with Alexa). It functions very well and there have been no stability issues at all. The setting of limits and favorite positions is a little clunky, but that is the case with my shades as well, so I can’t blame the app for that. Good product.

Great App Great Product Great Client Service

Had some issues with my controller and the client service was AMAZING. This product is the best for the price and the app is easy to use and let me control all my blinds in the house. Can’t wait to add new product after the renovations and try their new service Go Smart Blinds

Works well, could have more customization

The app works seamlessly with my Google home. Not sure if this is an incompatibility on the Neo side or Google but you’re not able to ask the system to close blinds halfway via voice control. Only possible if you go into the app and pause where the blinds should stop. Sometimes rollers blinds don’t roll together simultaneously.
