Great app - few things

Hi great app, but it would be good to see a status on where your blinds are sitting if you are not onsite. Would also be great if you can set scenes for double blinds ie 1 x blind can be operated at a time rather than having to add blinds individually on the main screen (not one set of blinds per room)

Broken

Having recently setup my house using version 4.1.4 the app controls have now stopped working and no rooms are displayed when attempting to setup the blinds again.

Excellent and easy to use

Works great on my iPhone, Google Home, and HomeAssistant (although I wouldn’t mind a battery level warning!)

My one issue was breaking the top and bottom limits and their tech support clearly and easily helped me through the correction.

Strongly recommended.

Schedule feature is great

Very easy to setup. All I needed was the programming instructions from the existing remote to quickly add 14 new blinds with different schedules for open, close, and favorite position. Important: you must know the correct “code” for the motor company used for your blinds. Very happy so far.

Needs Apple HomeKit integration

They allow for Google and Amazon support but not Apple HomeKit. 60% of active smartphones in the UK are from Apple.

Awful

Disconnected itself within 24 hours of being professionally installed. The blinds are fantastic this app and technology does not work. I have connected and disconnected multiple times. Do not buy... save your money.

Scheduling not working

I’m amending my initial one star review as I’ve since received excellent support. The problem I had was that scheduled closure of the blinds via the app produced just a whir and judder but no movement. Scheduled opening and direct commands via the app worked normally. It turned out that my unit needed a firmware updated which was quickly provided and solved the problem. The problem that I mentioned about the app not giving any indication of the blinds status ie open/closed does not seem possible to fix even in future updates.

Poor App even with two controllers our 3 blinds are so intermittent in closing. All are on three schedules open left 7:30am, open right 1pm & close sunset +15mins The open schedules work most of the time but the close schedules only work occasionally. When they fail to close a judder is heard on the blind concerned and it is random to which binds don’t close. Controllers show full Wi-Fi and are within 3 Mtrs of blinds. When close is operated on the app after the failure they close without a problem.
Like others some indication of blind completing the operation is required. Very disappointed as although contacted Neo support they have failed to be able to find a solution. They think the blinds are receiving a start an immediate stop signal but haven’t discovered why. I’ll post again if a fix is eventually found.

Nice app works well only thing I will say is it should indicate if blind open or closed

However, most motors do not have the capability to send blind positions to the app. We currently have this option on the app for owners of Neo motors. Works great!

Works like a charm, don’t need the Controller anymore. If your house is large and your blinds aren’t registering you need to add more smart controllers to your household.
