  • Useful but support/helpdesk is almost non-existent

    I’m on a black plan, which is supposed to have priority support, and I want to change from a monthly subscription payment to an annual one. They say that first I should downgrade my subscription and then upgrade to an annual Black plan, but in fact when downgrading it’s redirecting to in-app support to initiate a ticket for the support team to evaluate my request and I’m waiting for a response for 5 days now… Really frustrating :(
  • Terrible customer service

    It has been terrible dealing with Curve customer service. They clearly just don’t care about their free tier users. I was never notified that Curve started implementing international usage fees. I’m fine with these fees - I just won’t use my card abroad. But isn't it illegal to make that change and not notify your users? I only noticed after I made a large payment and the cost did not match what I thought I saw on the receipt. Customer service also ignores my emails.
  • Why is there a US waitlist?

    I decided to download the app because I’m told my upcoming Ring One will work with Curve, only to find you can’t sign up right now…not one place explains what the situation is, just that they want my email to let me know when the US comeback tour has begun. Like what does this even mean? Are you currently not usable in the US due to legal issues, or your network can’t handle any additional people right now?! Information is key in todays world…share it!
  • Worst service. Closed account 4 but credit history hit with payment due

    Worst app and customer service I’ve ever seen. No phone number. Only email support.
    Never opened a curve credit card but ended up getting on after registering on app.
    Contacted support to close the credit card. Email support took over a month to cancel the card but the credit history on Equifax was showing a missed payment for 5 months. They claim that a charge to my card was routed to curve credit card on the same day the account was closed and accrued interest for 6 months. Nobody contacted me via email or postal mail asking to pay this off. I found it on my credit report when a lender denied my loan citing a missed payment for 6 months.
    If I didn’t contact them, I’d be dead and they’d be charging interest for 100 years without contacting the customer.
    They’re Scammers. Beware.
  • On a DOWNWARD Curve

    Idea is great, and when it works it is great, but the app is constantly having issues. I’ve had many a charge declined from Curve - I’ve confirmed it’s Curve’s issues, not with my bank. Support appears to be outsourced, uneducated about the product, and slow to reply. I respect this is a beta product but the beta products I’ve had were a lot more polished and I wasn’t having to contact support every week.

  • BAD choice for refunds

    Almost every time when a refund occurs CRV says that they cannot match the original transaction and process it to the Curve Cash account which is always in GBP currency and cannot be changed or suspended. Subsequently all my refunds are forcefully converted to GBP and then changed back to original currency to be used again.
    Be aware that this situation often occurs and Curve does nothing to resolve it!!
  • Useful. I do have a suggestion.

    I really love that it let’s you track all collected spending on loaded cards in one place, and that it doesn’t bother making a distinction between “pending” and “posted” transactions. The total spend you see is immediately updated after making a purchase, which is great. Smart rules work like a charm.

    One suggestion is that the spending total resets on the first of the month. Maybe I’m missing it, but I’d love for there to be a setting that can change the monthly date for which spending totals are reset. Not all people’s budgets/financial calendars revolve around the first of the month.

    Also so far I find that about once a week a payment will just straight up be denied, and it’s not to do with my associated credit card as not even the “embarrassment protection” kicks in. I assume it must be to do with Curve processing. Speaking of which, it would be nice to be able to elect to turn off the “embarrassment protection.”

    Overall I’m very happy with the app and service

  • Scam

    This is not a credit card and the app is atrocious. I received a statement that can not be viewed in the app and there is no web site login . They say they are associated with Hatch Bank which does has a website with a one page, there is no login or services you can click on….nothing! My statement, sent by email by their in app chat person has a charge that was also on my linked credit card. I sent email to dispute charge and never heard back. I also asked the in app chat feature on how to pay statement balance do this month, they said just hit “pay” but after a hour they said I had to add a debit card, which proves this is not a credit card backed by a bank, it’s just some charge service for your credit card which has an app far better than this junk app. No customer service phone, just a recording. You have to wait several minutes for a chat rep as it’s all automated. The address for Curve? WeWork 214 W 29th St NYC. Not a bank just some 20 something scammers trying to fund their lavish lifestyle.
  • Really awesome

    I think this is super awesome. We didn’t exactly start off on the right foot, but I’m enjoying the card (it’s metal and so awesome looking) and I’m enjoying the app.
    Don’t let all the negative haters push you away.
  • Not Intuitive/US No Visa credit cards compatible only debit

    Haven’t been able to successfully charge to Discover card yet. Spent over an hour chatting with support and no closer to understanding how to use the card and actually get the payment tho Discover card. In US no Visa credit cards are compatible..only debit. Not seeing value of Curve yet. There is no phone number to call. There are no videos demonstrating how to use the card and get charge to credit card.
