  • Can’t even get setup complete

    Installed and went through the setup process. Get a genetic error saying something failed. Then the app just repeats the request indefinitely upon saying that you’ll try again later. If they can’t get basic error handling working right, why are they asking to handle your credit card information and finances? Clearly not competent enough for the task if this is the quality of experience they are showing. I’m now upset I even got as far as uploading my drivers license info and SSN.

  • Beyond horrible

    I’ve had Curve for around a year now. I thought it would be a handy way to simplify my wallet. My experience has been a nightmare. So for anyone considering joining Curve, please learn from my mistakes and don’t even think about using this app or getting a Curve card.

    1) there is no real time support. You have to use email. The response times that I have experienced are in weeks (not days) and often emails are ignored altogether.

    2) there are two Curves. One on the UK and this new one here in the USA. God only knows how they route their emails. If you are in the USA, make certain that you send your emails to the US company. If you send anything to the UK, they will ignore the email with no response, regardless of how urgent the problem is.

    3) the app and card charging mechanism is prone to errors with charges routed to the wrong card or, worse, as has happened to me multiple times, the charge displaying “declined” on the store credit card terminal but going through and charging the Curve app anyway. So watch out for double charges.

    4) I just can’t state enough how horrible their customer service response time is. For example, I just received an apology email from Curve for the “long” response time I experienced. This was for a billing problem I had tried to resolve last October. It took them more than 4 months to reply.

    So I’d you value your money and your sanity, don’t be tempted. Steer clear of this app and credit card.

  • Not working as advertised

    First can’t add diners card. Second only 2 cards are free to add more needs subscription. And finally can’t have only virtual card to use via Apple Pay but you have to order physical card and pay shipping. My intention was to replace my physical cards with curve card in Apple Pay.
  • The worst experience in Fintech: avoid like the plague

    I signed up to curve because of the appeal of being able to centralize my cards.
    I thought yep cancel revolut metal, get curve metal instead.
    Awful idea. They dont give a crap whether you’re premium you still wait 5 days for a response to simple customer service inquiry, and then they close the chat without sorting out the problems.
    I was able to use the card for two days before they blocked me and asked for verification. I provided everything in 24 hours.
    A week later they said they had everything they needed and were unlocking my account… they never did. Yet they charge me for their metal plan that I cannot use.
    I love fintech and am always trying out new apps and banks. Curve has given my by far, the very worst experience ever.
    Avoid like the plague.

  • Subscribed and card never delivered

    Subscribed for the metal plan, of course immediately charged and the card never delivered. They refuse to send another card, asking to wait, wait, never received. Then even saying my address is 100% accurate they keep asking to confirm… Hours to answer a support message… hours, bad support. I will delete all my cards so I won’t be charged anymore

  • Great idea, lacking execution

    This product is a great idea but for nearly every card I try to add the app says there’s an error adding the card, which really limits the app’s appeal…I look forward to when this product is fully baked!
  • Can not apply

    I can’t get past the address input. I keep receiving an error that something is wrong.
  • So many issues with the app and unhelpful customer service

    I regret downloading the app as I’ve had so many issues with adding cards and trying to pay my curve credit card balance. This has caused so much unnecessary stress as I do not want a late payment reported to the credit agencies. Not worth the stress to download this app.
  • Feels a bit like Magic

    Before getting Curve, I was always juggling reward cards. Curve does all that work for you.
  • Smart rules rules!

    Smart rules is what I was looking for - no need to worry about which cards to use, getting maximum cash back automatically, thanks!
