My Mercy

I love this app! You don’t have to wait for the doctor to have time to call with results, you can see them as soon as they’re available. You can look back on any visit yo read notes in case you forgot something or were sick or overwhelmed and not comprehending everything at the time. You can see any upcoming labs or appointments that are scheduled. You can also compare old tests with new results if you have an ongoing condition. It’s just full of information that you can’t get just by going to the doctor and leaving. Everything is at your fingertips.

Mercy Health Care

I am not enjoying answering the same questions over and over. You need to add options to your app! Three times I’ve told you I don’t want to change my appointment. stop offering me new times. Give me the option to say don’t contact me again I’m keeping my existing appointment. I shouldn’t have to do that. Once I say, keep the appointment you should be able to figure that out that I don’t want to change it. Especially when I said it with a live person. You can also stop sending me reminders through the app, plus calling me and sending me letters about test that I’m not going to have. Remember it’s my choice because it’s my body. There are limits you should honor. It’s not about your revenue streams. It’s about me living my life to the fullest without as much medication as I can

Mercy Staff

I unfortunately have been having to visit Mercy several times this year, I’m sure due to my age being in my 80’s, I can’t even imagine going to any other medical facility except Mercy. In my age group conversations always seem to go to subjects about Dr’s or hospitals. We all get into our experiences about what goes on and I unfortunately hear some stories that sometimes are a little unfavorable from my friends. I tell them try Mercy, you won’t regret it. The Dr’s and the hospital staff are of excellent quality. We have been members for generations. Our Mother had all three of her children when it was St John’s. We have been patients there ever since

Check in feature doesn’t work

After coming in for simple lab work that typically takes all of ten minutes including waiting, I found out the check in feature “doesn’t work”. I typically check in at the front desk, but figured I would make use of the feature and also free up check in space for others. The app instructed me I was all checked in and to sit down. I arrived 15 minutes early, but 15 minutes after my scheduled lab work, one of the receptionists called me up and let me know checking in online doesn’t work. Would have been nice to know as I am now sitting in the waiting room going on an hour just for blood drawing. Why is this even a feature if it “doesn’t work”? My office is normally so quick, but this has now caused me to miss DOUBLE the time at work and I’m still waiting. Please fix this issue or remove it entirely to save others their time.

My Chart

I’m enjoying using My Chart and being able to access my tests and other vital health information, however, I still feel my doctor or his asst. should be calling with the test information results to say everything is okay, or to explain what the results actually mean or if further testing is required, it certainly would be nice to know, coming from your doctor or his asst, a kind gesture explaining or assuring your patient who is sometimes nervously awaiting these important test results! Thank you for listening. Susan C. Vidra

Love the app

I love the app it’s doctor Bumberry I have the problem with. It’s the fact that one of the side effects of Flexeril is death and that flexeril doesn’t effect the area where the pain starts that makes me want xanaflex that I had experience with years ago that I want. I received a letter from Bumberry online that said I’m out of her care but she would continue to supply one more month of medicine so I’m within that month asking for one prescription for Xanaflex 6mg two tablets by mouth every 8hours as needed not to exceed 36 mg in 24 hours

Mercy’s App is almost good

First the app works alright for the most part. However the pre checkin feature does not carry over to some of their Epic system, so if your doctor uses the Epic system and you pre checkin you will still need to do the whole process again.

The other annoying that is that not all there billing goes through this app. Most of your bills will, but then you will get a paper bill in the mail. It is hard to know if you need to pay this bill or not. That means calling them which is a crap shoot, if you call them 3 times you will get 3 different answers.

What I do like is that I can see all my future and past visits. I also really like that I can see all of my tests.

ER complaint

PA Tammy Miller was awful and provided no help. I have a growing ovarian cyst that is 4 cm and she read the report wrong and told the gynecologist and myself it was tiny with being 4mm. This cyst is rapidly growing and I begged to stay in the hospital to be admitted to get it removed. She dismissed me and would talk to me. I was given loads of pain meds that didn’t help the pain. The first PA Derfelt, I think, said he believed this cyst is what was causing the major pain and should be removed. I can not walk, I can’t stand I can’t do anything. Working is painful, I hurt and I begged for help and I got nothing. What I got was a kiss off and a medicine for anxiety. Seriously I need help and no one helped me. This is going to burst and I could die from poison. Im so disappointed and this PA should be reprimanded. Read my file it’s pretty obvious it’s growing very fast. I feel like I’m being stabbed. Can’t go to an ER can’t get help. She referred to another Dr that said they can’t see me until April! Seriously I can not walk! Im not a deadbeat I needed help! You gave me nothing but a hard time and treated me like a lowlife.

My mercy patient portal

The portal does NOT inform you of the TIME your colonoscopy procedure! I get multiple reminders on the portal about the date of the procedure but NOTHING about what time to show up. This is rather important to all parties involved.
It’s Sunday and I have a colonoscopy supposedly scheduled for tomorrow but not what time I should show up. Who do I contact on a Sunday to find out what TIME to show up? I guess I will have to call Monday morning to find out when to show up. Hope I’m not late!

MyMercy is so helpful

I would give MyMercy about an 8/10. There are some doctors or RNs that are hard to find a way to leave them a message. I am sure that it’s intentionally because they don’t have time to have costumers messaging them all day. Overall though, it is very convenient Thank you!
