Expensive

I’ve been charged $22.40 for my journey and I got a normal taxi back for the same journey and been charged $15.60. Avoid them if you can 😡

So bad

This app is so bad. It glitches out half of the time as well as gives the user no way to contact the company if there is issues with a driver. It’s like Uber but 1000x worse.

Works OK. Pricey. Made Bermuda easier…

Tried this app out during a stay on Bermuda. It’s helpful if you want to go places a little off the beaten path.

There are plenty of taxis at the stands at the big hotels, tourist sites, airport, etc.

I stopped using the app after I realized I was paying roughly 40% more than standard meter rates.

Great app and service

Go to taxi app for when in Bermuda.
Used this multiple times a day for a week and the rides were spot on and I never waited. Not to mention all the drivers were the nicest and very pleasant. Definitely recommend for travelers to Bermuda.

Restaurant That Wants Service for our Customers!!

I here you!! Get it TOGETHER!!!!

Don’t be foolish - Download this app!! 💯

The app works similarly to Uber, Lyft, and other ride sharing apps. Is it perfect? No. However, it does exactly what it needs to do—and makes your trip A HECK of a lot easier!! Especially because it saved us from having to constantly go to an ATM machine... which would have been annoying. But thankfully, Hitch handled all of our payments (including tip) through the app! So we never had to carry around much cash. (For reference, IF YOU DO NOT use Hitch, you‘ll have to be reliant on somebody else calling a taxi—which leaves you in the dark about how far your driver is... So, let’s say your driver cancels, (WITHOUT the app) you’ll have no idea what’s going on! You’ll just be standing around in the heat, waiting—not knowing you need to call a new one. 🤷🏼‍♀️😪 ALSO, most regular cabs don’t accept credit cards... meaning, you would have to carry a significant amount of cash on you at all times (not safe) and repeatedly make pits stops along your drive to get more cash from an ATM. That’s just an unnecessary hassle, in my opinion, and all those ATM fees add up. Moral of the story: make your life easier and download Hitch! It’s free and totally worth it!!! 💯😍

Side note to the developers: My only complaint is that sometimes I won’t get notified that my driver has arrived until *after* I fully close out and refresh the app... This seems like a minor issue, but if you could fix this, I think the app would be perfect. It’s a little annoying to quit out, so the app can update. Thank you for creating such a useful tool to alleviate stress on vacation. I HIGHLY recommend this app!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Useless

Beyond useless in the Southampton part of the island

App Doesn't Work

Just downloaded the app and tried inputting my card information and everytime the app crashes. A couple of friends I'm traveling with are reporting the exact same thing so essentially we can't use the app at all since a card is required to book a ride. Seems like a huge oversight on the app developers end that new costumers can't even successfully sign up on the app.

Worked on first try 👍

Hailed a taxi in 5 minutes using this app on a Thursday evening in December. Friendly driver, quick service. The restaurant said it would take 30-45 mins if we called for a taxi. We’ll be using this again!

Works Some if the Time - Could be Good but...

So I’m writing this as I’m leaving Bermuda. This app started off strong for the first couple days we were in Bermuda but then fell off for some reason. In general it was somewhat reliable. Used it for four rides - had to try multiple times to “call” a ride (like 6-15 times) but got rides. After a couple days it basically stopped working. Either that or no one is available on weekends. NEVER rely on this for a time-critical trip (like the airport). If you’re not in a hurry and you don’t happen to have a taxi phone number with you then it’s ok. If they could iron out the driver issues it would be a great service like Uber. As it is, I can’t really recommend it. I had to call a cab company when the chips were down.
