  • Poor Customer Service & Payout

    Very poor customer service. Support very, very slow to respond and never follow up when they say they will.

    Be warned. There is an real issue with refunds, the process they advertise does not work. If there is not enough funds to cover refunding tickets in the event of a cancellation they say it will revert to taking payment from your associated bank account, this would be a good system if that was what actually happens.
    What actually happens is that you cannot process a refund unless you deposit money back into your fareharbor account, understandable, except you have to wait for their finance team to process the transaction which takes far too long. We have been waiting two months currently and they say there is still no sign of the £800 we transferred to them despite providing evidence of transfer.
    Obviously our customers are not prepared to wait two months so we have had to refund outside of the system and request the £800 be returned. It has not been and we are currently £800 out of pocket.

  • App keeps reloading unprompted and works like a bad version of the website rather than an app

    I use this app daily for work and need to reference it frequently to verify details when I’m out in the field. I wish the app would just keep the view/page I was on rather than reloading each time I leave the app for even a second. I’ve even turned off “Background Refresh” on my phone, and the app still does that annoying refresh.

    If the refresh were fast, I wouldn’t mind. However, I’ve never seen an app load this slow; it’s even slower than the Fareharbor website, which at least doesn’t refresh unless you do it yourself.

    Developers, please remove this constant background refresh and please maintain the view the user personally sets (i.e. “Manifest” view rather constantly resetting to “Booking” view). It wastes time to constantly wait for this app to refresh and reset, only to have to undo everything it did.

  • It’s a relic. Terrible customer service.

    Do not use. As someone with years of experience in the travel/booking industry I can say this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. The system is antiquated and you need a masters degree just to navigate their forums. It’s unusable and cannot wait to switch software after this season.
  • FareHarbor is absolutely the best

    I had been with FareHarbor for about 2 years.

    I received a call from PeekPro in July. They promised no commissions with Viator or Musement. They promised cart abandonment with access to the data. They promised the quickest payments. They promised that customers would no longer have to leave my website to complete the booking. They promised a lot. I can’t think of a single thing that the salesperson from PeekPro said that was true. It was one lie after another. On top of that you pay $299 for access.

    I rationalized that yes I love FareHarbor but even within a month Peek would pay for itself because with how much I would be saving on commissions. Unfortunately it was a lie.

    After I found out Peek had lied about the commissions I said well I will still be saving money because I will no longer be paying for waivers. Ha the waivers are a joke. You can not tell who has and who has not signed the waivers. There is no storage of the waivers so if something were to happen I would be stuck with no protection. Waivers are cheap so who cares about the savings.

    Going from FareHarbor to PeekPro was eye opening to just how much FareHarbor does. I could not even close off certain booking times with PeekPro without it glitching and closing off numerous times slots. All PeekPro did was crash and crash. Also PeekPro took over a week to process payments. Everyday with Peek I was just hoping for the best like how much worse could it get.
    With FareHarbor you can look any and all data. With PeekScam the reports they offered where not even helpful and you are not able to customize.
    If you call support no one knows anything and they are just trying to get you off the phone.
    Also when I left PeekScam to go back to FareHarbor, Peek held the refund reserve money. So that alone speaks volumes about their integrity.
    If you need help with anything on FareHarbor support is available 24/7 and each rep knows exactly what they are doing.

  • Best booking software app

    I shopped around a lot to decide which platform our business will use. Fareharbor ticked all the boxes. Super simple, fast, accurate and more features than you’ll probably need.

    FareHarbor doesn’t get set up instantly, but the team has your longevity in mind. The perfect software provider for anyone who is taking their business seriously and interested in growth over the long term.
  • Love the app

    Would be even better if you can see on the dashboard how many people you have checked in on to a tour, with some kind of indicator at the side of their name.

    That way it it would be much easier to pinpoint who you are waiting on without having to go in to the individual bookings.
  • Notifications would improve the app

    We love using Fareharbor. We have tried several booking systems, but Fareharbor is the one we chose because it is the most user friendly for both customer and us. It would be a great improvement to the app if they would send a notification every time a new booking is made. Currently, the only way to know if there is anything new is to open the app and check. It says I can turn notifications on, and I have, but it doesn’t send any at all.

  • good app needs notifications

    currently have an alarm set every half hour to check for new bookings when i’m on call

    notifications for IOS would greatly improve this app
