  • Device is ok but app ugh

App is horrible and hard to use. If I had to choose again I wouldโ€™ve gone with a different brand. Stuck in UI hell
  • Getting worse

Changes for the sake of changes. Not sure why developers insist on taking something good and making it irrelevant. Please roll this thing back a few updates to when there was useful client info.
  • Increasingly Disappointing

The latest versions of this app donโ€™t seem to let you archive or dismiss notifications. As a result the widget just keeps showing more and more unread notifications.
  • Clueless App

All of a sudden, app is not accepting my login. The same credentials are working on the the portal. I raised a support case and they are not even ready to listen. Not allowing me to add the device again as well. Tried 100 possibilities to deal with this app and none of them is successful. This is just an attempt to inform them as support team is failing to answer simple questions.

  • What?

Your last update... first setting I saved cause me to factory reset my UDM!! Cmon!
  • Canโ€™t log in

Just updated to app, go to log in, and it says โ€œaccount is locked due to too many attempts. Please try again in a few minutesโ€
I just went to log in, havenโ€™t done so in a few weeks. So now Iโ€™m locked out from the system and canโ€™t access my AP.
I waited a few minutes,, actually a few hours, and it says the same thing. Obviously a weird update bug.
    Please fix.

  • Cloud based authentication is wrong and stupid

UDMPro is not an upgrade. It forces a very bad design choice for authentication on its administrators. All this is going in the WRONG direction, from a company who recently proved it is NOT trustworthy. Avoid Ubiquity if you can!!!
  • Networks Made Simple

UniFi is a fabulous solution for networking. I use it at home with multiple WiFi access points and a few wired devices and it makes setup and monitoring a dream. As a bonus the WiFi range and speed has been noticeably improved. Would I recommend it: yes, absolutely.
But, the latest version of this app, for the way I use it, is less useful. I have kids and have set up two WiFi networks - one for the kids and one for grown ups. Setting these up was very easy. The kids one has a availability schedule (it turns off at bed time) and the grown ups one doesnโ€™t, and is hidden. Sometimes the kids would ask for extra time such as in school holidays. In the old app I could adjust the schedule (it was well buried, but it was there), but the current app can only turn the schedule on or off. This is why Iโ€™ve rated the app at 4 stars and not 5.

  • Nice app, mostly

Iโ€™m really surprised by how much effort Ubiquiti puts into making their iOS apps look and work like iOS apps. Usually, network-related apps are cross-platform garbage fires, but this one is a welcome change! I can do just about all the administrative stuff I need from my phone, no browser required.

That said, the latest update makes the statistics screen useless. I do not, and will never, enable DPI for any reason. There are other statistics about my network that can be displayed without needing to deeply inspect each packet. In fact, Ubiquiti knows this, because they displayed some of those statistics on the statistics tab before the most recent update! Please donโ€™t require DPI to show me the wireless client counts, graphs, etc.

  • Works good

This app continues to work well. There is a bug in the latest release when switching between login/accounts - I have to do it twice to actually switch otherwise it still shows the other account.

Update: Developer provided information on a feature that is bit hidden now but detailed client information can be viewed on the Client list page > โ€œ...โ€ (top right corner) and under Display option, toggle the option at the bottom.
