    AppFolio isn’t perfect by any means, but what truly sets them apart from competitors is that they actively engage their customers in product design. They reach out to us proactively to gather feedback on new features and improvements, often doing extensive sessions to ensure what they are building meets their customer needs. The relationship we have with AppFolio product managers ensures we are able to shape the future of the product. The kind of engagement they do with customers is rare for any tech company.

  • Will spam you for eternity.

    Was a property manager years ago. Still receive promotional emails. No unsubscribe option so I have to log into account to change preferences. Account is deleted so this is impossible. Call to phone number, no customer support, cannot resolve issue. Get it together clownfolio, harassing me perpetually with no way out is incredibly frustrating.

  • Slow Improvements - Focus on Up-Charges Not Advancements

    App screen shots not realistic. Slow to roll our community recommended features. For the size of the firm and being a public company seem far more focused on ways to up-charge existing users and paying shareholders vs rolling out advancements on previous half-baked improvements for us paying customers.

  • Terrible!!!

    Don’t let yourself be fooled….AppFolio definitely fooled us! We were using another system that was pretty outdated, so when they contacted us about switching our software, we were very interested. Come to find out…. Their accounting system is complete crap!!! Their onboarding team completely screwed up our data migration, and I’ve been calling them for MONTHS, trying to get one thing after another solved. However, every fix they implement, causes another accounting issue!

  • Sending message to the wrong person

    The app will sending message to the person which u did not selected, it is better to use the PC version!
  • Garbage

    This is a garbage app. It’s non functional.
  • Buyer beware

    The sales team over promised on functionality of their platform. It’s difficult and convoluted to use. It doesn’t sync with banks that require token number for login. It can export CSV files, but not import them. It does not have the capacity for fillable PDF’s for leases. I regret the purchase, and plan to migrate to something else within the first 6 months.

  • App not accessible

    In the past 3 weeks my app has become very buggy & then stopped loading completely. I’ve had it for 3 years with no problems. I’ve tried removing & reloading, rarely it’ll allow me access for just that time. I can still access the app on my iphone7 office phone but not my iPhone 12 personal (any phone/Apple updates are done on both). Please help resolve this as I utilize my personal phone app much more.

  • Uploading nightmare.

    The application is buggy and hard to use. The inspection feature is particularly frustrating - it usually takes several attempts to upload photos to each section, often timing out and freezing up and even logging me out entirely when I try to exit a stalled inspection and go back to uploading photos on a fresh attempt. Uploading photos to a work order is a little better, but barely.
