Pretty good
The drawn visuals look nice and the gameplay (although somewhat repetitive) is overall fairly fulfilling. It’s certainly not perfect, but the good outweighs the bad in my opinion. This free version is essentially a demo version, while you still get all the content of the game, you get handicaps placed on you such as only being able to save in certain spots.
My only complaint is that the new clothing system is oversimplified; you used to equip individual pieces of clothing, now it’s all one piece.

Best game I have ever played!
The game is immersive and is awesome to play, I have seen loads of good reviews of this game and I have upon it once or twice. When I installed it and played it it took me time to get going but then I was happily playing the game. The only thing I do request though is if you could read dusty books two or three more times and please make the school books readable as well, thanks for making this a Russian based survival game.Show lesskonker off
Great idea
Look everyone the idea of the game is AWSOME. Run around the Soviet Union trying to survive, build a survivor base,gather recourses ,ect. totally a cool idea. .........BUT.........WAY TO HARD. .. even in EASY MODE it’s REALLY REALLY REALLY HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! So hard that it’s extremely difficult to get started being how easily you run out of stuff and die it’s to the point of frustratingly difficult. If it was easy at start . Then got harder I’m cool with that . But It’s just EXTREM HARD. I quit the game after only a week of playing it because I died so much I wasn’t getting anywhere. I wasn’t having fun. it was dumb,frustrating, irritating, and aggravating ,ect that it simply becomes pointless to play. From what I saw the game was well put together. Well made, good story. Really cool idea....if your good at these kinda games then it’s for you.. if your new to the survival games then avoid this because it’s EXTREMELY HARD for new players . The only reason I give it a 2 star is because it’s good game-yes ... but -JUST WAY TO HARD FOR NEW PLAYERS. I can’t get into game because I’m rage quitting because it’s so hard lol.. to developer please PLEASE MAKE EASIER FOR NEW PLAYERS . Was a good game but too annoying now
I started playing a couple weeks ago and found the game to be amazing with great potential and plot, had me thinking of project zomboid and other survival games, but this game later becomes very very annoying, loosing most your gear and level after you die or the game crashes. There is already a hard core mode and other game modes you can play to make the game harder yet the devs just made everything about the game revolve around you BUYiNG packs to have even a chance. I was close to level 55 and died once and crashed once during battle and went down 2 levels and lost basically all my good gear. So they want me to “buy” more that way.... don’t think so. Like I said great game but turns out it’s getting really rotten. I hope something changes, but most likely it won’t. Lots of players say the same thing even in reddit it’s filled with people wanting to get back to this but won’t cause is turned sour....I’m a big spender in games because I enjoy playing but this game is not seeing another dollar from me ever again. Used to be great
I used to play this game a lot. I even bought the premium game. After a hiatus I recently returned to Day R and I now find it unplayable. 'While you were away...' is a message you may receive when you spend a short period away from your base city. In essence, the game decides to take from you most of what you acquired through hours of gameplay, for no reason at all. 'Escape from death penalty' does the same even when you win a battle. Since these can happen at any time, there is actually no purpose in playing, since whatever gains you make can and will be randomly taken from you. It used to be a great game. Had potential but you dropped the ball
I’ve been playing this game for 2 years now, and I recently downloaded it again. I decided to make a new game and I saw the new system. What happened devs. The old system was good, but this new system is too fast paced, and the new level up system is horrible. I liked the older version cause it had more things to make and to do, now I’ve seen so much being taken out and it’s just tasteless now. The game is still good, but that update hurt it in my opinion. A lot of things changed but in a bad way. It’s just too fast now, I loved it when making items took experience not level points. Please devs, make the game as it was before this update, so many people would love it, and this game lost its spark in my opinion. But please fix this, this game is really good and time consuming and I love that, but please undo that update, it would be appreciated by many of your buyers who actually spent a lot of time in the game.Show lessWarbirdnation
A Rando Review
So i have played this game i believe a few years ago when it was not as advanced as it is now and i decided a few days ago to find it and i am glad i did. So here is what i think.
The PROS!!! :D
-Online!!!
-Game has them nice Fallout 1 feels
-Graphics are nice for lack of animations
-Feels more realistic for how things work
-Its in Russia and its map is huge!
-The game has tons of different kinds of loot,weapons,armor, and edible items
-this game is the biggest ‘management of resources , food/water,weapons,and clothing i have ever had
-online mode has a chat too!
This may sound great and all but now... the CONS
- there is a premium version, yes i get it you need money and this is a good way to do it but it is the cause for most of cons
-chat has horrible delay
-10 Minute. Yes T.E.N. Minute wait time for every message you send in a chat. Who the heck takes ten minutes between each sentences??? What if your in a bad situation and need help but you have to wait for 10 minutes
-game will keep asking to connect with cloud or app store even when connected (not sure if bug or not)
- this aint a con but it is needed to be said.
When you make a new game, Hard mode or Online, it will say are you sure you want to delete your previous game. For me at least, i still have both my og game and my online game so eh :V

Incredible gameplay and isn’t pay to win
The gameplay is outstanding and the mechanics are great, The game isn’t pay to win at all and if you want to buy loot crates there’s a very very high chance you’ll get 3 items in a row plus they are very cheap too so they’ll cost about £3 which is amazingpalrac (flip it)
WHYYYYYYY???
I loved Day R. It was one of my favorite games. The UI was fun, interactive, and was very balanced in terms of difficulty. With the newest updates, everything has gone to hell. The UI is annoying, flat, and extremely difficult even on easy. Everything has been reworked, even though there was absolutely no need. The new radiation system is totally garbage, along with the removal of saves. Premium is essentially useless now that the save feature is gone. Overall, I hate everything in the update. Searching is just awful, as well as the way attacks happen. I remember back when the player icon was just a head with a gas mask and a ushanka. I’ll admit, back then the game was buggy and there was a lot of refining to do, but then you just threw out the entire game and essentially crafted one from scratch. The combat system back then was pretty bad for sure, but nowadays sometimes you just get randomly attacked by a snowman and end up going back to those dumb ‘safe havens’. In essence, I know the developers meant well. But making a whole new game and printing it over the one I loved doesn’t make sense.Show lesswilbur10001
Amazing game
Brilliant game just one thing with my version, I upgraded to premium in the app that all went fine I am now playing premium. But some sort of bug has happened that when I look at thing that affect my food water radiation etc, I can see the numbers that the effect is going to apply but the little symbols for the food water radiation etc aren’t there, there are just white boxes as if the symbols haven’t loaded in. A bit of an immersion killer really, just wanted to know how to fix it or mabye have another update so it’s fixed.
