APP updates drop my credit card

Last month I tried to use your updated APP to get a few dollars off a meal & the cashier said just scan the receipt. Did that & No reward. Since that did nothing & no one reached out to me after I tried to correct it through the APP that I “USE to enjoy for MANY years”, to offer a solution. NOTHING!! The reward was still not given. So I figure you dont care. Having a rewards APP go from an easy pay through the APP to useless is NOT a reward…its a job that takes the joy away. Keep your little $3 or 3O%. Panera & Toasted Yolk is nearby. Good luck

My favorite French cafe ever!

My family and I have been coming to this café over the past 10 years. All of the food and pastries are so fresh, delicious, and unique. I personally love the butter croissant, the chocolate almond croissant, and pain au chocolat. My kids love their crepes. My husband likes their omelette. Their service is quick and the environment is so relaxing. I love to be there during winter and sit by the fireplace. I will forever keep coming to this place. Thank you for a great service.

Door dasher couldn't contact me because I ordered on the app

I ordered delivery on the app and the delivery person was sent through Door Dash. The restaurant was out of a dessert I ordered and then the door dasher couldn't get in touch with me because I hadn't ordered through the door dash app. Therefore I was charged the full price of the order, but did not receive the dessert. I had to call the restaurant and we are still waiting on the refund for that. I would've picked up the call to tell them I wanted a different item but no one called me or contacted me at all. The app needs to give the door dash drivers the phone number so we can be contacted. Please fix this.

App is Total Screw for Existing Users

Registered user from previous app for a few years and this new app is a total screw up. Can’t register or login from iPhone or desktop. Magic link MAY work if you are all smart phone and your email is on your smart phone. Any desktop use is a total disaster. Ordering at open of store is also a total screwup. The time set generates too many time errors. The older app (before March 2024) was way better and far more smooth ordering and registration wise. Also had to use a new email address with new app after April 2024. Not a business email. Only success registered from GMail email. Couldn’t use corporate email address.
All points and settings from past are totally lost with new app.

Long term reward member inconvenienced

Have been a patron of La Madeleine since early 90s and have maintained one of the top 2 tier statuses since rewards started. But since the pandemic y’all have gone way downhill. Today checking out was way slower since I cannot scan the app and then to be told I needed to upload my recipe to get my points.🙄

Y’all only got my business today because Panera was out of cinnamon rolls & any scones and I didn’t want a brownie for breakfast. But at least their rewards program is more user friendly and their products are consistent

Upgrade not customer friendly

The new app and method to claim rewards is not as seamless as the previous version. Before when we had a purchase the bill was tied to our account then to a linked credit card. Now we have to use separate credit cards and physically present the card to complete the purchase. The purchase is not tied to my account but is tied to the credit card. As we like to use one card for meals this presents a problem. Now we have to carry different credit cards. We just made a purchase using a reward from one account and paying with the credit card tied to another account. The other account got the credit. Very confusing and certainly not as friendly as before.

New version

Hate, hate hate this new version. I do not want to have to register my credit card to get my points or to be able to use a gift card. Otherwise you have to upload receipts every time. Much easier when all you had to do was scan your phone. Panera and Corner Bakery use your phone number not your credit card to track rewards points. Also my earned points did not transfer over. Much more complicated to use and not giving you my credit card information so it can be stolen.

Thank you for your feedback. We completely understand your hesitation to link a card! We take security very seriously, and for that reason, have built our product so that we do not store your information anywhere in our system. When you link a card to the app, your card info is sent directly to Visa, MasterCard, etc. This is how you tell them to enroll you in our program. At no point do we ever see, know, or store your card number. This allows us to automatically detect transactions without adding any risk to you, and your card information never even touches our system. We would love to ensure that you receive all of your previously earned loyalty credit. Hand Hygiene

I was very concerned with the Rockwall, TX store. We walked in and there were only two other couples eating. We walked up to order and an employee was spraying the tray holder and wiping it down with a large dark green sponge with a place to slip your hand through. She set it down on the counter and started putting on loose vinyl gloves to serve us. I asked if she washes her hands before serving us since she was cleaning and she said no that is what the gloves are for. Well I am in healthcare and those vinyl type gloves have micro holes and tears in them and she was touching the outside to put them on so they were contaminated. I asked her if they usually wash their hands and she said no they are busy doing different tasks. As I said there was no one else in line and they weren’t busy. I put the tray back and started to leave but I turned around and stated if I am asking you to wash your hands before serving us food will you. She said yes if you are asking me. I think these employees need to be trained properly on food handling and hand hygiene.

International Flare In The Local Community

I have always had a love for international foods. Growing up in an area full of diversity, fresh ingredients, and time spent in the kitchen. When I eat here it reminds of me that time, takes me back to a point in my childhood when I developed a love for food. Simple doesn’t always have to taste so simple! 10/10 recommendation every time
