  • Worst sleep app I’ve tried

    In 4 nights it says I have slept less than 2 hours. It tells you your phone needs to be plugged into a charger-that’s annoying. You have to tell it to start. No other sleep app needs to be told when I am going to sleep. It is supposed to wake you in the lightest phase of sleep during a timeframe. Not only did it fail to recognize a light sleep- I was awake and it didn’t go off. Instead it went off 17 minutes after my time range. The volume on the alarm ramps up way too fast. In about 5 seconds it’s very loud. You can’t tap a stop button to shut it up. You have to hold while it thinks. ‘Hold to stop’. I’m not trying to wake up the whole house! The wake up is jarring, not gentle. Here, let me wake you up late, require you to find your phone and hold for a few seconds while I ramp into concert level volumes. No TY. I should have stuck with the trial. Instead I tried a subscription. That was stupid.

  • Not Reliable

    I’ve had this app for a few weeks now and about half the time when I go to set it before I go to sleep so it will start tracking, I only get a mini spinning wheel in the center and the app never loads and then shuts down/crashes. Today was the first time where when I held the stop button for the 3 required seconds that it froze in this position and then shut down/crashed.

    Even when the app does work where I can start the tracking before going to sleep and then stop the next day it never tracks right. If I were to believe this app, I never reach deep sleep except the one time for something like 5-10min.

    At this point, I just checked if I needed to update the app and an update hasn’t come out in over 5 months which is in the timeframe when I first downloaded it. Honestly I’m just glad I never upgraded to a paid subscription.

  • DONT BUY SUBSCRIPTION

    I tried other apps like eyeshutter etc. then I came across your app I really liked it at first and until I bought the $40 one year subscription pack I forgot the name of itBut I got the subscription everything went well and I start using it a week after it took $5000 out of my bank account so I don’t know if this is a scam or maybe you just have very bad service because I lost $5000 out of your company that could’ve went towards my 6 children’s college fund I am a single mother working eight jobs just to provide for my house that doesn’t even compare to my children’s clothes schools my house bills medical bills and if you don’t respond I will sue you for stealing and embezzling money from my account because this is unacceptable and I have tried other businesses I have wrote reviews they have answered but I have tried the apps again and they don’t update it so if you can’t update it for me that I wont use your app and I will be contacting your manager whoever because this is unacceptable I will be calling my lawyers please let me have your phone number or your email or both if you would like to so we can talk personally.😒

  • I would avoid

    I usually only write reviews for apps that are fantastic, or ones you should avoid. This one for me, unfortunately, falls into the latter category.

    During the free trial all functions seemed to be working normally and I was obviously enticed to purchase the annual subscription. Then all of a sudden, several of the sleep analysis functions stopped working every other night. For whatever reason it wouldn’t work with my microphone (new iPhone 12).

    I started testing the sleep cycle pattern information. For instance, there would be times I’d be up in the middle of the night and the next day the app says I was in deep sleep at that time, so I kind of think that whole analysis is bogus.

    So now it’s down to basically a glorified alarm clock, and this week for whatever reason, it decided to not make any noise 3 days. Not 3 consecutive days because it would work sometimes, but when your alarm clock is going to randomly not work, I’d say that’s the epitome of unreliable. So I’m going to delete this app and look for something new. This just did not work for me.

  • Great, but issues with mic

    I love the ability to listen to music and track my sleep while still being able to use my phones built in alarm clock. The issue that I have, is the microphone doesn’t record sounds anymore. I thought maybe it was 1 or 2 nights I just didn’t snore or move, but I know for a fact that I move quite a bit in my sleep and that I snore as well. So for the microphone to not work every night for a month is not right. I’ve reached out to tech support in the past, and they said to uninstall the app, and reinstall it. That that should fix the issue. And it did. For a few months. And the microphone would record again. Yes, I have allowed the app microphone access. Again, I love it tracks my sleep cycles, but to have the year subscription and the microphone not record is frustrating and almost not worth the subscription.

  • Seems a tad bit inaccurate

    While I do like the sounds and the smart alarm feature, I am a bit skeptical as to how accurate the sleep cycle tracking is. Every single night, it claims that I’ve gotten 0 hours of deep sleep. Unless their is something medically wrong with me, I highly doubt that I’ve gotten absolutely no deep sleep in the 3 weeks that I’ve had this app. I did some research, and it turns out that most sleep tracking apps have a difficult time knowing when you’re in deep sleep, and thus might not track it correctly. Despite that flaw, however, this was overall a decent purchase

  • Okay but glitchy

    I like the sleep recording feature and the rain sounds to use while I’m falling asleep. However, the app is really glitchy. Most of the time it takes a minute or more to respond after I hit the sleep button. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all. On occasion I can’t get it to turn off in the morning either and I end up having to close the app out entirely to get it to turn off. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it hasn’t made a difference. This app would be great if it wasn’t so glitchy. I probably won’t renew it which is too bad. The concept is good, but it needs work. Please update!

  • I used to love this app!

    In the beginning, this app worked perfectly. I’ve had it for about 5 months now and in the beginning, I absolutely loved it. But now, I don’t know if I do so much anymore. When I open the app, I have to wait for like 2 minutes for it to unfreeze. And when I go to change my times, sometimes it will reset me back to my original and it won’t stop until I restart the app. And lately, it’s not been going off like it’s supposed to. I set my timer, I make sure my ringer is all the way up and I keep the app open and plugged in, just like it says to do. It still won’t go off and it has made me late on many occasions. I love this app a lot but I don’t know if I can use it anymore because it keeps letting me down.

  • Not good anymore

    I was very happy with this app at when I had my I phone 11 and now with my iPhone 12 no more first but seems last October 2020 when bad I deleted and put back up and I just deleted all my all data plus was incorrect information and don’t record it anymore or tell me that I own to my body like 3 days of sleep and I know is not true plus is not giving me all the tracking information and the bad thing is the I pay for the whole year and I need to delete it and find a better app because I have fibromyalgia and is very important for me to know what happens when I’m falling asleep.
    I don’t know if your company changes the person who was first doing all the updates or just don’t care about it anymore already took the money from the clients and don’t care to continue doing a improve on the business app.
    Good luck finding people who will stay with this app because me no more.

  • One of my favorite apps!

    Sleepzy is personally one of my favorite apps on my phone. It’s sleek, modern design and extremely user friendly UI makes it easy to navigate. The integration with the Health app is wonderful. I also like the smart alarm feature, which has never failed to wake me up feeling refreshed, even on nights I’m not getting a full cycle. Just remember to plug your phone in before you go to bed, though. The app doesn’t affect a normal charge cycle, but will drain your battery FAST if it’s not plugged in. Overall, great app! Kudos to the developers. :)
