Brings no convenience outside of viewing schedule
Usually a mobile app offers a wide variety of functionality that is on par or close to the desktop version of the website. Not this application though.
I can book a slot for a class, but not actually sign in for class on the application.

Buggy
This app is fairly buggy and not very helpful. Would be useful to have a messaging function so I could message other people in the community or maybe a message board. You should be notified also before you are taken off a waiting list and then placed in a class. This app have great potential. Not sure why the developers haven’t made more of a community engagement tool instead of an un useful sign up roster.

Good for purpose needs tweaks
I love being able to easily sign up for class and see the workout. It’s great to have all your workout and skills listed and able to add and update your times and weights. It needs some help though. I can’t go to just the ones I’ve entered. Every workout entered is in there so I either have to scroll or search And it is too time consuming. I want to be able to find my max weights and hit PR without having to have recorded it elsewhere.
I love being able to see who else will be in class as well, but would love a way to message each other. I know you can comment on leaderboard, but not everyone enters their info. So a way to encourage or ask where they’ve been would be fun.

Logs you out, won’t let you log in
Very buggy. Works well in long stretches but then logs you out. You can’t log back in, even with the correct password. Using the “forgot password” doesn’t work - the reset password email never comes. (Yes, I checked my spam folder). My gym even tried to force reset PW emails out, but they don’t come. This is a simple app concept. Can’t understand why it’s so hard to get it working right. Use another app if you can.
As I type this, I reinstalled the app. Now all I get is “we are currently experiencing technical issues” and “reload application”. Of course, it won’t load. Garbage.

Consistent issues logging in
I have to constantly delete the app and reload it on my phone because it won’t recognize the passwords the first time...or the second, third and forth times. Then it finally lets you in only to struggle in syncing your data, kicking you out, and then making you sign in again. It’s like a maddening cycle sometimes. It gets 3 stars because it happens 30% of the time and then glitches when it does work. Highlights are functionality with Zoom and it’s easy intuitive interface

My members have trouble making payments. The app just spins out and doesn’t process it.
When I use the staff app it works, but not the member one.

The worst
This is literally the worst app on my phone. I really wish our gym didn’t use it to sign up for classes so I could get rid of it. It never works; I can never sign in, it kicks me out all the time, or inexplicably makes me redo my password. It’s so frustrating. We have a joke in our house that the Zen part of ZenPlanner is when the Z pops in and out for 5 minutes while it tries to open the app.

Very Problematic
This app is very unstable. They constantly have server application connection errors which renders the Application unusable. You can not book classes when the Zen Planner servers are unavailable. This past month has been the worst with connection issues. Also one key feature that is missing is the ability to integrate with the built in calendar app on your phone to import your reservations when you book a class.

Going out of my way
I almost never leave app reviews but making an exception for this. I use because my gym uses it. The app constantly logs me out, then will not except the password that I know is correct. This has happened several times and when trying to rest the password via the “forgot password” button, I get no email... Extremely frustrating!!!

Not Zen
Very clunky app, frequently glitches and doesn’t load. Logs itself out often and needs to be closed and re-opened multiple times.
Developers need to seriously rethink their app and put some solid hours into just making the app work properly.
