Easy to use, reliable, professional results. Seriously, this slick, smart app has saved my bacon many times already and given me compliments from my agent for speed and professionalism. I love telling other actors about it and watching their faces light up as they navigate the app. No problems with it ever and particularly love the additional dialogue tool when I can't get an actor to read with me. Brilliant!

I wish I knew about this app sooner! Often when selftapes are sought with next to no time to properly coordinate for outside help, Slatable came thru at the last minute for me. I thought reading against myself would be a little off-putting, but lo and behold, my tape went to producers after I sent it to casting. I love that all I have to do is basically press record. The app took some getting used to, so I advise you get to know it before you actually need to use it or you may wind up frustrated & confused. Follow the directions and you'll be fine.

New favorite tool!
This is my new go-to for self-submissions. I've been using the app for the last two weeks or so and wanted to wait to review it. I can now say I love the freedom I'm getting from this app. It saves me from having to do any work on my computer since I can do everything...including labeling right on my phone.

Highly recommend!
This app is surprisingly efficient and easy to navigate. Having self-taped many auditions, Slatable is the one-stop place to record, edit and submit! You can easily pre-record and add-in the lines of other characters before recording your own lines, because sometimes it's tough finding someone to read with you. I went through all the steps, creating an impromptu scene with two-character dialogue and it turned out awesome! Kinda funny, but had it been for an actual audition, I would have submitted. Haha. Awesome app!

Makes self tape auditions so much easier!
One of the great things about this app is the ability to record the other characters dialogue and have it play back as you record your scene. Very handy when you have no one to read the other characters parts but have to get the audition out quickly.
Much to like about this app
I like that this app makes it easy to record, do minor editing, set a title, and share a self-taped audition. The ability to be your own reader is nice in a pinch.
The biggest change I'd like is for the camera to have a selfie mode--it's very hard to set up lighting and the camera angle for yourself if you have to be behind the camera, and somewhat annoying to have to start the recording and then run around to the other side.
The title card is useful and easy to set up. I'd like to be able the choose the duration, the font, and the font size.
