Love it, just needs fixing
I’ve had Poetizer for about two years now and let me say, I love it. It’s a great place for community and friendship, but if you aren’t looking for that then that’s fine too. It’s also great to get experience and personal reviews on your work. I love it. Though recently I had to delete it. I don’t know what is going on, but it will not let me access the app. Every time I would click on the app it would just kick me out and send me back to the home screen. I don’t know why it’s doing that, but I would love it to be fixed. Otherwise, great app.Show lessmystery student

The Poetizer community itself is great, and I think the app is a wonderful idea, however I constantly experience glitches with the formatting of my poems when I post them.
Others experience this issue too, and I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, going back into my poems and trying to edit them at a later date, switching to better internet connections, however this problem still occurs. This is extremely frustrating as the structure of a poem matters so much to how it is read, and presentation is important too when posting your works.
I really hope this issue gets resolved as it has made me want to stop sharing my works on this app because of the constant glitches and lack of continuity.Show lessNataliana11

Writing poetry is cathartic. It helps to empty the mind and let’s light in. Sharing … really is caring. And when someone acknowledges your words, it feels good. I’m enjoying Poetizer… it fulfils my needs.NadioG

First of all, this app is amazing. Designed for poets, and only for poets.
One issue I have is with the Poetizer Publishing.
I wanted to preview a book I made on the website to see if I wanted to order it. I look at the table of contents, and it says that the first poem starts on page 2. However, when I go to page 2, it’s still the table of contents!Show lessDilledPickie
Great app, but…..
This is an amazing app with a lot of talented poets. I haven’t seen any negative comments really.
My problems with the app are pure usability. I would love to see a preview button for posts. The formatting changes randomly when you post. I would also like to see more formatting options on IPhone. Finally, it would be great to see more ways to find poetry. It seems like once something is gone it’s just gone and I can’t find it again.Show lessElaynrynth
Would’ve given more stars but some bugs aren’t helping
I previously used this app but due to the lag and constant crashing I deleted it. I redownloaded it hoping that the bugs had been fixed lo and behold their not.
1- I input my poems and try to edit them because they’re showing up double or overlapping the app closes, I’ve tried so many times to edit my poems that’s I’ve literally had to sit and type into the text box for it to glitch and overlap again and again.
2- it’s very difficult to create the book when all the poems are glitched and overlapping that even on the book their overlapping each other.
I would love love love to come back and put my poetry back on the app but until it’s fixed there wouldn’t be a point- I don’t do haiku’s or two line poems like most of the poets on the app (not knocking them but 🫤 their not that great no emotion no feeling just two words on each line and they’ve got thousands of likes 🥴) make it make sense please.
I actually write pages full sentences and paragraphs of poetry. It’s a shame because the app has so much potential but it’s not for a poet who writes a lot it’s more for single sentence one word poemsShow lessIsha.A
Great idea, poor app
I fell in love with the idea of a prose/poetry “social-media” instantly and firmly believe in the potential of this concept, but the app itself is very dissapointing. Would be a shame if technical problems killed the app… so much wasted potential.simmysime

Looks like they fixed some devastating bugs, which I appreciate. The UI for the app has weird bugs that still needs to be worked out. There’s a 50/50 chance that anything I make in a draft won’t load later so I can’t continue the draft unless I login to my computer.
Paragraph spacing is still weird where it’ll save your initial layout, but if you go back to edit, the spacing appears to be gone. If you add spacing back in, it compounds in the original spacing so you have double the original spacing. This extra spacing cannot be changed.
New chat features are nice but I’d like to be able to tag other people more freely as I would like to credit others if I use part of their pieces in my own.Show lessRequiemoftheAntman

This is definitely the best app out there if you’re serious about poetry and rap, the people on there are actually nice people...I know right!?

This is the best app I’ve found for writing poetry. I think it could be so much better if we could organize our poems by subjects though it bothers me the way it’s set up because my poems feel disorganized but this is such an amazing app and the people who use the app are so supportive. 🖤tori lashayyyy
