Potential here but meh
I really wanted to like Twos. But the trouble is that it’s not intuitive to use. I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to add a simple to-do list entry and the app tried to instead turn it into a sublist or break it out of the sublist it was meant to be in, etc.
I found it difficult to figure out how to even copy a structure to reuse. And, perhaps this is more user error than anything, but I wasn’t sure how to use templates in a way that actually simplified my life or thought process.
I think y’all are onto something with the whole minimalist vibe, but I’m deleting for now. I’d be down to give it another shot if the UI gets a thoughtful redo.Show lessSomeoneEtAl

Hi SomeoneEtAl, thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you misunderstood what sublists are for toggled headings. That’s unfortunate and we will work to improve upon this confusion. Too many times do people fall in the rabbit hole of productivity apps, systems and PKMs. While having notion, obsidian, and roam research may seem great. . . they’re nothing if you don’t actually benefit from it. Twos simplifies the process. Instead of worrying backlinks, a second brain and whatnot, just create a list, or a to-do and that’s really it. There’s heaps of features in the app I’ve yet to discover. The developers regularly update. If you feel you haven’t actually became more productive, then Twos might be a good try.Show lessTirosen;bn

1) Mobile first app 2) Excellent integration with calendars. 3) Always with me, but also very accessible on my PC, iOS, Mac, Linux and more. 4) List making is the most important feature for me as it holds all my tasks, projects, and documents (soon!).

I’m obsessed with productivity and planning apps. I have tried so many list and note and calendar apps and burned out on so many. But Twos is different. It has all the features I’ve loved about any other apps, it has features I don’t know how to use or don’t need but you might, and it is easy and intuitive to learn.
Also right now it’s FREE. All the little add-one? They’re not necessary and they can also be earned for free. I bought the full thing, even though I’d earned enough coins to buy everything I wanted, just because I wanted to support the app and the developers. I love the way lists can be nested within one another and the way tags work. The browser app for my computer is phenomenal. I have been so productive lately I can hardly believe it.
Twos is the best. Actually the best. Someday when they are wildly successful and can host documents, I’ll pay for storage so I can store papers and documents in the app instead of linking to them. This app is so great.Show lessThe Mystery Catt

I’ve been through a lot of apps over the years. Evernote provides too much, Trello works great for tasks using a KanBan, Google Keep has some good list making functionality, Outlook is what I use for work. But this app puts my calendar, tasks, lists, and random thoughts in one interface. I’m a couple days into using this, and if it comes up short, I’ll come back and revise my review. Quick update: still loving the app, but here’s a small request - could you perhaps not issue a new update every single day, but instead maybe bank up your changes and go every Monday? It’s getting a tiny bit tedious seeing new version after new version lighting up in the App Store with sometimes just a single cosmetic update that still requires downloading the entire app.

Played around with this app on the phone and Mac. I quite like it. Couple of suggestions for improvement: could we remove the “happy twosday” greeting on the mobile app pls, space is already at a premium on small screens and this area could be better used for more data. Also, the syncing seems very slow, 20-30 seconds between one client getting updated and that update reflecting on other clients. Beyond that I’d like word wrap on to-dos, font sizing and perhaps resizing of the columns in the day view. Thank you for making it free!Show lessCeleron Hubbard

Twos is a very different kind of productivity app. It’s a to do list. It’s a planner app. A daily log. An app to remember your day. The list goes on! The list function makes it a great project tracker, birthdays reminder, menu planner, or chore list. Lists can be shared. Things and lists can be published in Twos World. Twos is one of those apps that you can make your own, which really works for me. I absolutely love Twos and the community around it.
