Deleting
App used to be free & helpful but now of course they want to charge a yearly price. I liked this app because I don’t travel often so once in a while when I do I use this app to help with finding cheap flights but now I’ll just have to find a different app.
I want my 60$ back.
Booked a flight, had to promptly cancel it via airline. Tried booking again via Fareness and received a “fail to confirm” message on Fareness side. Was able to book a confirmed flight on try 3. Had to go through Amex to help stop initial 655$ charge for flight 1. Received rude messages from app developer. Paid 60$ for the Fareness two months ago and am now blocked from using it. Just a heads of what can go wrong with this app before you commit to their bs 60$ usage charge...on top of their other fees when booking.

I know everyone needs to make money, however, I’ll be deleting this app because they are all of a sudden charging $60 to “subscribe” to this app. It use to be free of charge. Not happy about this at all. 😩
Not free anymore
We understand how your model was previously used to search but not to book a flight. That’s partially because the airlines discourage third party bookings
But at 60 dollars Where is the added value that you offer
There are too many competing apps that are still free
You really need a better way And you keep mentioning 5 per month but it’s 60 for a year
It’s very hard to charge something when for long periods you offered for free

Just avoid this app
This app and company used to offer this product for free (making money from the airlines via kickbacks), however recently they decided to start charging for the app. They want you to get locked into a yearly subscription in order to access their “deals”. Other sites offer the same services (albeit with less search options) for free. If I was traveling monthly, this might be worth the cost, however since that’s not most people, you can’t expect that’ll happen. Well, the app was good while it last and while it was free. This app will be gone in a few short years unless changes are made to the pricing structure.

What did they do?
I used to be able to search for flights on this app. Now it’s trying to force me pay for a $60 subscription just to check flights. I’m deleting this ASAP and I would not recommend using this.
Overprizing
I've used this app before when I was living in New York but I dont use it all the time because I always find better on other sites. Now that I live in Germany I checked the app and they're charging $60/year so we can look at dates and prizes? Yeah, not gonna happen. Since I've been here in Germany I've been to most European countries already without using this app. All cheap flights. This app is not even good like that I wouldnt even pay $10.

Don't waste your time
Had this app for awhile and it's been great for viewing travel trends, but not worth $60/year. Shame they couldn't find a better "sustainable business model". Skyscanner and google flights can provide the same information for free. It was fun while it lasted ✌🏼
Help, When I Most Needed It
Earlier this year I booked a great flight deal using Fareness for my honeymoon. The departure time and date were great, and the price was phenomenal.
I was so looking forward to the trip: 3 weeks in Brazil with my new husband. Unfortunately, life had other plans. Several weeks before my scheduled departure, I shattered my left tibia just below the knee. This rendered me completely incapable of walking and required several rounds of surgery to fix. In short, there was absolutely no way my Brazil trip was happening.
After contacting the airline directly and explaining the circumstances of my cancelation, the airline requested I go through Fareness since they were the booking agency. I’m glad I did.
After several rounds of explanations and some furnishing of proof of my injury, Fareness achieved something rare in today’s world of airline customer service: they got me a full refund for not only my ticket, but my husband’s as well! Had I taken the standard approach and merely paid the cancellation fees, I would have lost over $900 US dollars.
Instead, I will receive a refund of nearly $1400 US dollars. Many thanks to the Fareness customer support team for their persistence in helping resolve my issue. I will definitely continue to use the service and encourage my friends and family to do the same. Five Stars all around!
