  • Order

You can only order individual books. You’ll have to pay shipping for each titel! Making profit off of shipping is as low as it gets!
  • Not for Australian users

I’m an experienced Blurb user on PC and use the Australian Blurb site. Thought I’d try the app on my smartphone for a quick book where all my photos are handy to import. The app only offers a square book format with one photo per page. Then shipping is expensive as it ships from the US. I did not realise this until I went to order. An 80 page soft cover book will cost $65AUD plus taxes just to ship. That’s too much.

  • Great!

Would be good to have a few more features...

Image rotate, control over the spine etc
  • Not enough options

They only give you 2 options on the IOS app and they’re only expensive photo books. I want to be able to upload my book from PDF to a trade book like it shows on the website but it’s not possible if you’re using IOS.

    Developer Response

Hello, Thanks for your feedback. The iOS app and the PDF Uploader are two different tools. Have a look at this page for more information: https://www.blurb.com/bookmaking-tools Our iOS app was created to help you make quick and easy photo books using the pictures on your phone. If you wish to upload a PDF via our PDF to book workflow, you can definitely do so by uploading a PDF that you've saved on your Mac or Windows PC. With the PDF Uploader, you can create any book format, including trade books. To know more about uploading your book as a PDF, please check this page: https://www.blurb.com/pdf-to-book I hope this helps. Best, Blurb Team
  • Spineless

I received the usual good quality photo book I'd expect from Blurb, but if you want your book to have a title on its spine, do not use this app. Come on Blurb, fix this obvious lack.
  • What a easy app

Wow, what a great app! My sons best friend is leaving to go to a different school and I really wanted to make something memorable. Put the thought of having loads of photos and putting them in order and creating a book was quite daunting Gladstone at that time, but this app to all together for me and it’s great!

  • Transforming Visions into Reality with Blurb: A Photographer’s Perspective

"Publishing my first photo book, "Please, Don't Leave Me," through Blurb has been an unforgettable journey. Their user-friendly platform made the process of designing and laying out my unique collection of photographs a breeze.

The print quality of the final product did justice to the vibrant hues and intimate moments I captured on film. It was simply remarkable to see my work displayed on the high-quality pages of a professional-grade book.

One of the aspects that truly stood out was Blurb's affordability. It allowed me to offer my cherished audience a rich visual experience without setting the price beyond their reach. The customer service was prompt and efficient, ensuring a seamless process from conception to publication.

I would definitely recommend their services to other photographers or artists looking to materialize their creativity and share their work with the world."

  • Easy to use

I really enjoyed using Blurb to create a kid’s book for my nephew. I only wish it allowed me to write text on a page without a photo so that it could be more than just captioning pictures. My goal was to create a storybook, not just a photo album.
