Great learning tool

I started using Fretello a few months ago.
Pros- I really like that it allows you to customize your lessons based on the style of music you are interested in mastering. I also really like that it uses standard tab for the lessons (unlike some other apps I’ve tried that rely on gimmicky interfaces). I think the repetition in the lessons is also very helpful in building muscle memory and I can notice improvements in my playing each session.
Cons- My only real complaint is that it doesn’t provide any feedback on how well you are hitting notes and keeping time. It would be awesome if this was added and you received some sort of grade after each lesson. Then you could see which lessons you didn’t do well on and could repeat if you wanted to improve.

Great app

This app is great for me it. The easy of use and setup fits my needs better then some of its competitors. I haven’t played in 6 years and decided to pick it up again and this app has helped me with getting back into a groove.

Great App!

I really enjoy using Fretello to learn basic scales and songs. The feedback is really useful, and has gotten me more confident with solos and improvising! The app could use some better organization, it can be a bit confusing at times, but overall it’s a great app!

Manipulative

How misleading that it was going to be free. The price is steep, too. A one time purchase of $15 (the monthly cost) is high enough per person. If you want to do monthly subscriptions, keep it under $5 but you better keep up with fresh material

I cancelled before my free trial was up!!

Very unfortunate to see a charge of $127
On my Apple account! I cancelled free trial before it was up! They would not honor a refund
I had to pay $15 for a month just to get some of my money back! Very unfortunate, as your app was going through some bugs while I did the free trial & unfortunately the app was bunk at that time; hence my quick cancellation.

Warning - this app defaults to a year payment

Who does that? I was willing to try it for a month of paid service. I apparently missed where they say you’ll be charged for a year after the free week.
I didn’t know any app did that. Kind of bs, I think. Not very happy at all about this. Buyer beware and all that.

No opinion on the app itself. I’m too mad to use it now.

Pay to play

Downloaded this app as a total beginner, deleted it still not knowing anything. It looks promising, but i refuse to pay for something i havent been able to try yet. Would be great if there were a few exercises to get used to how the app functions, unfortunately that isnt really an option.

Feeling it

Thought it was actually pretty easy to jump on a start (attempting) to play. UI was nice and seems to have a nice flow to the lessons.

Moche

Entraînements basiques, quelques fautes d’orthographe et il faut un abonnement pour jouer presque toutes les musiques. Ne téléchargez pas cette perte de temps! Ce sont des chansons pops très vieilles.
