Problems with the iOS 18.2 update
The recent update included broad changes to how email is sorted. Suddenly emails are sorted into four different folders: Primary, Transactions, Updates and Promotions. These categorical differences in reality don’t necessarily correspond to the manner in which the app sorts them. For example, why would daily emails from a news or other publication end up in Promotions? Why not “Subscriptions”? This makes seeing emails difficult; I now have to remember to search all four folders to find the email I am looking for or expect to see.
For me, the real problem is the threading. All emails from the same sender throughout time are connected. This poses a dilemma when I want to delete one of those emails but am forced to delete all or none! Why? Who wanted that?
How can a user delete one or several separate emails from a sender but not delete every one that has ever been received from the same sender?

Latest update for storing emails is horrible
In one of the recent updates they have made changes to how older emails are stored and to download older emails even ones that are only a couple days old you have to keep putting the phone on charge and leave it locked to download them and even then you can’t guarantee it’ll download. Such a waste of time and so inconvenient as you can’t keep putting phone on charge to find emails when out and about. I used to be able to specify how many weeks of emails to keep downloaded, bring this feature back. Downloading a new email app because I can’t keep having this issue.

You’ve had years to make this better
I like the new categories but there are too many bugs for me to use it. Every few minutes I get a badge icon that says new message, but it’s a message from years ago. Another bug is when mark mail as read, sometimes it doesn’t mark it as read. Literally the easiest, most basic thing an email app needs to do. There also need to be a read all button for primary inbox. Getting through 20,000 unread emails from my entire life of using Gmail instead of this app isn’t going to happen, but I wish to show badges on my app icon when I get new emails. Also there needs to be a way to reverse the threading when you open emails from similar senders. I shouldn’t have to scroll down for 30 seconds to get to the latest emails. Whoever worked on this app forgot to put themselves in the shoes a longtime Gmail and Google Inbox (when it existed) user to understand the transition requirements from those services to this app.

Worst Update Ever
Unavoidable IOS update makes app absolutely useless. So some genius at Apple thought. ‘I know, let’s make a MOBILE device only able to access emails when you are connected to power, connected to wifi and have phone locked all at the same time. In other words, if you are MOBILE on your MOBILE device, too bad if you want to access your emails. You now have to be at work where you’ll most likely have a PC or laptop and also now set up wifi at home if you don’t have it. Next update will most likely only let you access emails via iPhone when you are sitting next to a PC with you emails open on it. The sheer arrogance and stupidity is staggering. A MOBILE app has 1 job, to work when you are MOBILE! Absolutely useless!!!

Content not loading
For some reason, I think since iOS 18 update, photos and messages take a long time to load or don’t load, it is so frustrating when trying to do jobs that require this simple task to work.
Emails not sending
My emails are not being sent and it creates stress and confusion. Some emails will go through, others not at all. Very stressful when sending and receiving important mail. I will be moving to the Gmail app.
Vinyl Flooring
Ordered Vinyl Flooring for my Kitchen and Bathroom. Arrived In store promptly in just over a week, arranged for fitting beginning of the following week. Fitters arrived but when they unrolled the Kitchen vinyl there was a bit flaw in it unfortunately, said they would take it back to the store where it would be reordered and would usually arrive quickly, so no problem. Bathroom was laid and delighted with it and the fitters Nigel and Dennis were great and did a superb job. Back to the Kitchen over 2 weeks now, not a word, called the store last week, nobody new anything about it & Manager had day off. Called next day, he was out and would call me back, left if for about 3hrs not a word, called again got him, told me it had been ordered and would be in any day. Over a week now and nothing 🤔. This is now a month and no kitchen flooring. Very quick to take your money but that’s about it.

I absolutely hate Entergy
When I was back to Atkins I was told that I had 2. paid bill from the 15 years prior and the other from 19 years ago. I had lived 2 other locations in Atkins Arkansas since then and nothing was ever mentioned about me having unpaid bills. And everyone knows that Entergy would love to ruin your credit over any charges. I personally think they might be getting kickbacks for ruining peoples credit Entergy refused to provide a the itemized bill. When they refused to write it off. I was forced to file a complaint with the public utilities commission. Entergy called within 15 months minutes to write off the bogus charges. Since then I was sent a message by text to change my pay method. I was told that everyone got this message by Entergy but it didn’t apply to me but that couldn’t tell me when the autopay I had set up would go through and told me it would be 1 or 2 billing cycles. The website would not show nor would allow me to stop autopay because after the harrrassment I just wanted to go back to paper billing I will send my current bill by certified mail since it apparently takes Entergy longer to set up auto pay than it takes any company in a third world country to the same.

This is all I get - all day - everyday.
Would have loved the app if not for this. Can not read messages and when in a rush and expecting an important email this is the last thing I want.
I’m not using the app anymore because of this.
